Update on Terri McClure: Unresolved. In September 1992, Tim was arrested for Terri's murder. Some tips from the broadcast helped in the police investigation. However, in January 1993, the Nevada D.A. ultimately decided not to prosecute him. In April, a judge dismissed the case with prejudice because of problems with the evidence and Tim's estranged wife's refusal to testify. This ruling means that he can never again be arrested in this case. Terri's murder remains unsolved, although Tim remains the prime suspect. Her granddaughter has commented that much of their remaining relatives believe he killed her. They also believe that his ex-wife knows what happened but is withholding information.
Can you imagine going around trying to steal other ppls customers at their place of business and then acting like you're the victim? Unreal. There is an unspoken etiquette when it comes to almost everything in life. Some ppl lack self awareness I guess
Yet the argument today is these criminals need less time. Total joke. Also, the kidnapper needs a dirt nap also. Bottom line is leave people alone. If you kill in malice or forethought, you ought to death or at least life.
Who does that? Who goes to a place of business and gives out flyers promoting a competitors business on their premises to their customers? Such a dirtbag move!!💩
I found it odd on Tims wedding night he was "alone" for 2 hours gambling while his wife gambled with her parents. Just a weird story that makes no sense. Poor lady her son sadly killed her
So obvious that the guy killed his mom. His stories are so ridiculous. He obviously killed her & used the marriage as a perfect time to do it. He doesn't go to that only casino? Because in his words "the holy spirit didn't want me to discover my mom"? Then why were you even looking for her then jacks**? Calls credit card service before she was even missing, searches for his mother's purse when no one even knew it was missing. Was at the same casino all night where she was found. Lol, was a guilty POS.
He's a terrible liar and his body language really gives the game away. He murdered her and the motive was most likely financial, he wanted that inheritance ASAP. It would be funny if it wasn't so tragic.

In cases like this I’m always left asking “who else had the motive to kill them?” And you typically come up with no one BUT the accused. I know random acts of violence happen, but they’re much less common than you think. You are far more likely to be killed by someone close to you.
@@cheesecake134 How can you possibly know who else had the motive to kill a stranger you saw on television? That’s a difficult question to answer for someone close to you, let alone based on a brief description of the story from Robert Stack

John Mooney update: Captured. Within minutes of the second airing of this case on July 26, 1989, two viewers in Scottsdale, Arizona, contacted the authorities, stating that Mooney was living there under the alias Robert J. Kelly. On August 8, he was arrested at his house by Mesa police. He had been living in Arizona since 1982 and was enrolled at Arizona State University. He had worked at several accounting jobs in the past. He had also been married for six years and had a one-year-old son. On September 16, he was returned to Dooly State Prison to continue serving his life sentence. In July 2020, he was released on parole. Florence was released on parole in December of 2007. He had previously been denied parole eleven times. In recent years, he claimed that he was only supposed to scare TK into signing a lease allowing Mooney to stay in business but accidentally shot him when startled. However, at his 2007 parole hearing, he admitted that he purposefully killed him. Florence died on October 31, 2017 at the age of eighty-six. Interestingly, a man named Lavar Bates, who was a coworker of Mooney's and interviewed in the update, was recognized by a viewer as her long-lost father. He spoke on the phone with her on the night of the update and they were soon reunited.
