I feel the same way dude I saw them quite a while ago, and they were amazing, i saw them after discovering and it wasn't really the same they are still amazing though, i'm surprised they never got huge

Shane has alot of talent. Most singers cant go back and forth from singing to screaming and sound good. Like after they scream and try to go back to singing it sounds bad. He does it pretty much flawless every night.
@EyItsKimron i noticed that too and the drums sound a little quiet too, but in other videos they sound better, well only in how loud the instruments are, other than that this was a good one
@aymandk :/ I dont know if you know how to breath with the stomach but if you dont, learn it and it will help you. I take classical singing lessons(where i learned to breath) and learned to scream from the zhen of screaming (the teacher (a woman) in this dvd has teached screams to maaaany singers including Angela Gossow from arch enemy and Randy Blythe from Lamp of God) you can buy the dvd's at melissacrosscom but the easy way is torrent!! the 1st dvd teaches breathing etc. the second screaming
i dnt see anything wrong with his screaming i actually prefer it over a lot of other types of screaming. its gna sound weird but the fact that it sounds like hes in pain makes me feel like its reflecting of the music and makes it that much better in my opinion =P
Shane has Exhaled on every album and at every show, First couple of albums its sounds inhaled because he wasn't that good at them but he's improved a lot and they sound extremely exhaled on A Shipwreak In The Sand and Rescue.
lol aaron gillespie from underoath doesnt use it in each song.. only when necessary.. and live too. he doesnt use much in studio and lots live as a special treat to fans i guess so itd be awesome if paul did that..

Dude their all different. shouts are much more aggressive then screams. slipknot are a good example of that, and so is underoath. screams fit certain things more than others, there is no real screams. same reason fry screams are twice as powerfull as any false chord. false chord fits the music, but fry's are better in the terms of power and emotion. They all have a place
its true that he's not quite as good live as he is on the cd buuuuuuuut as a vocalist in a band i understand that sometimes i sound just like i do on my recordings and other times i sound like shit.. lol just depends on how your throat feels and stuff.. :) bad days suuuuuuuck lol
