Its a great looking watch, the dial on yours looks particularly striking. If you weren't happy you've done the right thing by moving it on. Like you i love different strap options, its like getting a new watch every couple if days! For that reason I never go for integrated varieties, however great they look.
That's a good rule to stick by. I had to try out the integrated look with all of the hype around them. I'm tempted to give it one more crack with the Citizen Tsuyosa but we'll see. (collecting straps might be more fun than collecting watches you know 😆)
I did exactly the same...TWICE!... I just couldn't get along with the 40mm, it sort of lost its charm with me much more quickly than I thought it would
I think you made the right choice but you should still give the 35mm a try if you haven't already you might be pleasantly surprised. I agree on the straps though I think it really only works on the bracelet, everything else looks a bit odd. Have you seen the Maen Manhattan 37? It's a bit more expensive but might be perfect for you at 37mm. I'm surprised more brands aren't releasing these integrated bracelet watches in 37mm/38mm it seems to be the sweet spot for this style of watch.
I did try on the 35mm when I bought my 40 from the AD. As the bracelet wasn't sized and it was just sitting on top of my wrist, the 40 felt better. I will likely give the 35 a go at some point though. It looks great on your wrist... Yes I've seen the Maen and it looks 👌👌👌
I have a 6.5 inch wrist and the only version I would consider is the 35mm. Tissot make good watches but there are often flaws in the way designs are executed. My 40mm Visodate doesn't wear well thanks to the oversized lugs with insufficient downturn and protruding caseback, which is again present on the PRX. 40mm Seiko, Citizen and Certina are fine so there is more to this than just case diameter. Having said that there should be 37/38mm versions for both the PRX and Visodate, which is surely the sweet spot for retro/classic designs like these. Be absolutely sure that the PRX is a good fit before you part with your cash. If not, walk away and put the £300+ towards something else.
Hello! Im really confused! I had to cancel my order mint greenTsuyosa since I thought I was gona buy fake. I watched tons of videos online and even tried to register the serial number on the Tissot website. Im just wondering because your PRX box is different from some of the videos I have seen online. Can you confirm? I would love to buy that watch, i just do not want to buy a fake one. Thanks in advance brother!
I love integrated bracelet watches, on my 20 cm wrist I wear and really enjoy a PRX Powermatic 40mm blu dial, a PRX 35mm quartz pvd gold and a Tudor Royal 38mm Silver dial. Maybe I was just lucky but I had no issues in sizing the bracelet and I don't miss that much the possibility to use after market straps option because the original bracelets are so nice (IMHO) for both Tissot and Tudor. P.S.: I'm waiting for my yellow Tsuyosa.
I had a similar wearing exp with the Bulova Moon watch. I really loved the look so I bought it even though I knew it was a bigger wearing watch, it was and it just looked ridiculous on my wrist. Anyway, sometimes these watches we really like aren’t made for us smaller writes people…..for now.
I have a small wrist and bought a cheap homage with the same exact dimensions (to see how it feels) The lug angling is not slack enough to wear well in my 6.3 inch wrist so I barely wear it….
I went into a ( very helpful) branch of FrSer Hart last year to try on a 40mm PRX Quartz. I loved the look and the weight of the atch but couldn't get a good fit on my 7 inch wrist. I also struggled with no AR on the crystal and decided to give up on it. I bought a 40mm Christopher Ward C63 Sealander on a bracelet instead. Brilliant fit, with the clasp allowing on the fly adjustment plus, with quick release 20 mm lugs its an absolute strap monster. Now the 12 has come out, I found myself briefly wondering if I'd made a mistake and should I have waited. No, I made the right choice and have saved a chunk of money too.
There are so many nice brands but after having Seiko , Citizen and other brands, found after so many years that Casio although not a great looking watch it is by sure the most capable watch, diving, solar with low consumption, atomic, temperature sensor , altitude, compass and lately with Bluetooth connectivity also. If you want to use for goes formal then use any other brand, but next day get your Casio what is besides of all this will be G-Shock, ceramic bezel and love forever with be your best tool. Either I’m the office or hunting or any outside activity. You might have less life than your Casio
In my opinion, the 40mm size is generally too large for this style of watch. The 35mm size is historically accurate and should be the standard, except for those with particularly large wrists. I believe you may have chosen the wrong size. While you mentioned that 35mm should be reserved for dress watches, this particular model wears larger, making that distinction somewhat irrelevant.
Yeah, I agree actually. The 35mm is definitely the correct option. My tastes in watches as shrank since making this video. So yeah, the 35mm would be the perfect choice. Not only for it being historically accurate, but also better proportioned. Thanks for watching 🙏
This is my gripe which is why i didnt bother spending. My right wrists is 6.5 inch, my left wrist is 6.7 inch but I wear it on my righthand. So its just strange.
Mine are the exact same, except my left is slimmer. It's because the matter inside the wrist gets compressed with wearing a watch. If you wore a watch in the opposite wrist for a while in guessing it would also shrink! It's all good anyway, the best watches are the smaller watches 😛
its heavy and shape make isnt so comfortable.i like my hamilton khaki king auto and is way more comfortable.i try tissot with diferent colours and actually dont like it.on my way to sell my 4th prx and not involve any more with the waves
I think it’s a very awkward looking watch on wrist. Of all sizes. Interested to see how the new CW 12 wears - looks a million times better than PRX and the dimensions look much better too.
I agree, it's a shame that it didn't come out a year or so ago. I feel like the boat has kind of passed with the integrated bracelet craze. The PRX has kind of killed my excitement for anymore. I do also hope it wears well too though!
So basically the watch doesn’t fit your wrist. Great. Thanks for the info 😂
I bet you're fun at parties
@@TopTierTickerhahahahw...dude will like. This basically a party then
I should have read the comment and skipped the whole video
Thanks for the comment bro helped me skip the video
Thanks for helping me skip this video lol
I bought this watch a couple of months ago, one of the best purchases I have ever made, still love it just as much every single day!

Bang on, I was buzzing when I first got it. But after wearing it (uncomfortably) for a few months. It just lost its charm 🥱

@@TopTierTicker Awesome! Keep up the good work!
6.75" (17.15cm) is the breakpoint smaller get the 35mm ---bigger use the 40mm. Tons of after market strap.
I was wondering
I bought the larger one just because it is supposed to be a "showy" piece. My wrist is 17.15cm @@MrBoliao98
I have a bigger wrist and got the ice blue 40mm, definitely love it
Good choice, enjoy! thanks for watching Ryan
How would 35 inch fit on 6 inch wrist?
Beautifully
I still have my casio quartz wtch since 92 , i still love using it. Its not perfect but it does the job.
Never go wrong with the cassie
The sizing is something the hypesters don’t mention

I have just under a 7" inch wrist and just get away with the 40mm . But if they did a 38mm it would be a perfect sport watch .
Agreed!
Is it a snap on caseback?

Yapper
Background music is annoying AF! Still appreciate the content
Trying to find a good balance with it. I'll make sure it's quieter in the future
This guy would probably hate on even an AP royal oak LoL 😂
What color is that prx?
It's the teal version

£200, so around $250 if in the US.

C63 is a monster. The hype of the 12 will come and go. You've made the right choice for sure!
I take your point and agree the 40mm is too big for wrists under 7 inches.
Indeed! And unfortunately the 35mm is too small for a sports watch. Shame...
The Oris with the yellow nato looks sleek!
Thank you, it's one of my favourites. It will be featuring in a video soon where I'll go into depth about it, stay tuned. Thanks for watching Philip 🤝

I like straps too.
Yep, my wrist is 6.5 inch too. Strap collections are the best 🙏 thanks for watching 🤝
Proves that there will always be one….
The thing is effing massive. It wears like a 44mm
😂😂😂
