- Hey guys, FINALLY the long-awaited character study of Kara Zor-El just in time for the end of the year, and the mid-season finale of SUPERGIRL! I've really enjoyed this season so far and I'm really looking forward with what's to come.
So this video took a few months to make, we just had to end up re-looping the song in certain places, so for what was meant to be a 3-minute song turned into 8 minutes! Which is kind of insane but we felt it had to be done to give Kara's character justice? I adore Melissa's performance and she works so hard and sometimes I feel like she's underappreciated or treated like some kind of trophy between ships.
Anyhow, I really hope you enjoy this video, it's been a long time in the making, last video of 2018! Thank you, everyone, for all your comments, likes and support we really appreciate it and we look forward to continuing providing more videos for you in the future!

It is sad that the show is ending and she never got credit she deserved. So many people say it is a stupid show but what I have seen is that most of the time it is people who just doesn't like female lead shows and female superheroes it is quite sad how most of the female superheroes movies and shows has been sidelined.
Melissa's acting has been awesome and she created a superhero that is way above the rest I have loved this show I hope it gets a good ending

Kara is the strongest, but the writer makes her look weak, it sucks
I have always felt that Melissa's portrayal of Supergirl is the most underrated character in all of the Arrowverse and DCTV. You can even see it when she almost gets sideswiped on her episode of the annual crossovers. It is so hard for me to find fans who give her and this show justice and you nailed it! Thank you for showing people how great this show is and has been.

And the fact that you can tell this show is on a low budget which really shows when John transforms along with a few other alien species. It’s annoying because the show has so many fans and it’s supergirl, it should be a well produced and well edited show with good cgi and shit, but it’s not. I love the show for the storyline and the characters but I do wish the cgi was better and the show didn’t have a low budget.
I completely agree supergirl doesn't get the credit the other shows get and she is by far one of my favorite superheroes. 100% thanks to Melissa's portrayal of her. I was very skeptical to watch it in the beginning because I knew the Smallville version but I can say that I was very impressed by this show. Wish there would have been more seasons will definitely miss this show especially the sister bond of Alex and kara.

Holy shit, I’m floored. You captured everything that is Kara, everything that is Supergirl. The highs and the lows and you laid them out so beautifully. It’s such an amazing walk through the things she’s been through, and it perfectly encapsulates her character. I just ran across your posting and was taken back by how well you captured the essences of the SG series. A character who has been put through the fires of life experiences : feelings of being abandoned; unfathomable loss (family, friends, culture, world); coping with a totally new and strange environment in every aspect of life (loved the scene when she was 12 standing on the beach steering up at the birds in amazement); searching for your identity and worth, redefining life's calling. All the while drawing on your inner moral and mental strength. Conquering the darkness that could have lead her down a path of self destruction. KUDOS!! Of course it helps that Melissa is the embodiment of Kara and supergirl. Talented and sincere. (Not to mention sooo cute).

Melissa dealt with some hard issues. She got depressed and went thought domestic violence when dating Blake Jenner, after glee had ended. She really is our real life supergirl. She is now happy married to Chris wood with a child. Chris helped her through the rough times and they have built an unbelievable brand together.
