Don't have kids myself but I gotta ask a few questions . Can you play games like Pokémon Go? Can you use the Nintendo Online or Pokémon Home apps? If you can't, then is a no go if your kids are gamers.

while that was a good overview of the phone, what people want to know is the functionality of the phone and what controls the parents have over it... For example, parental control over contacts, who they can call, seeing their texts, limiting their usage at certain times, etc.
parents can read texts, theres also a bar on the parents app of phone and data usage and tells you whether its an unhealthy or healthy amount and shows how many texts, how long the calls are, you can see the kids location at all times as well.
I feel like this is for all the strict parents out there. I know a lot of y’all are people that have children and want to control everything your child wants to see. Sure there are some crazy things on the internet but you can’t shelter them forever. Btw this is all my opinion from seeing and ad for it I haven’t watched the vid. Just needed to put my feelings somewhere
Depends on their age and it’s more about not letting whoever is on the internet have unlimited access to the kid more than not letting the kid have access to the world.

@@mrs.stocky2445 i just cant text my friends because i now need a passcode and they barely even let me use it so i barely have any friends and its just an okay phone but at least i have amazon kindle fire so i can still play some games but my parents are helicopter parents so if you dont know what that is there are good yooutube videos on it but it wold be a great phone if you are 12 and under

I'll put up the link later, but then basically you connect your computer to your phone using USB and then open up the gabb and then accept file sharing. Then grab the files on your computer, the videos and put it on the phone. Pretty easy, and it still works on the new update.
I got the watch back in August and I am on the verge of returning it. I like the idea of what their trying to do but it’s not working for me. Their service isn’t great the tracking doesn’t work well it’s behind by 20 to 30 mins. Only can send 20 max different text messages which isn’t good. Several times an hour it alerts me that she’s either left or entered home it’s crazy. And the pedometer doesn’t work. I wish I had a better experience with this.
as a person with experience. no the group message's come out glitchy if there are both apple and android in the group and if you call they help desk they immediately recommend to "get a new gabb phone and send back the old one" they then take 2 months to ship you the new phone and charge (upwards of 200 dollars) you for not giving them the old one back in time DO NOT BUY

Man’s sixteen let him be on internet that’s the only way to be aware of what’s going on around the world now adays. And he’s missing out on how life is sometimes.
It’s not authoritarian to want the internet on a kids phone but also want to be able to communicate with them and let them take some pictures and video. It’s a phone with a specific market in mind.

We tried gabb a couple of years ago but it didn't go well. The phones kept breaking. Random spam calls would get through. I hope it's better now.

It's phone price and monthly price is wayyyy to expensive. Parents can just make their own version with an older phone and TextNow service.
