Bought one for my 8 year old son, super worth it, especially the tracking, safe zones, easy to monitor, texts and alerts when he walks into school and leaves.
Divorced dad with a question about these watches. My ex wife got both of my sons a watch. They can text her phone, but I asked her to make it so they can text me. She said it only has room for one person to text to to,but is she lying?
@@darkpoet18 mom has to add the numbers to the contact list and there’s definitely more than one contact available on the devices. Go to the website, screenshot it and send it to her and tell her you know she’s lying.
You know, generally I love to call out 'trash' products - but honestly, this looks really great as a stop-gap between getting the kid/teen a full-blown iPhone/Apple Watch. Curious to see how it plays out - and if any major distributors pick it up.
I’d love to hear what battery life is like. Not much use if the thing dies halfway through the day. A daily charge is required or does it last more than that?
I guess that would be the angel watch. I think that that's good to have in case there's bullies. I think that's a very important feature that should be added or it will make people use a different product unfortunately.. When you're dealing with children that need to be monitored and they are around other children without adults, it's pretty important to monitor conversations.
I have been looking for a smartwatch that I can track and my child can make a phone call to me and is limited. However almost all of them have horrible reviews anywhere from the app not working to not compatible to their service. Would like to have a watch but not one with horrible reviews.
Ok so question, I saw on your contacts you have you and then the primary contact is also you. I cant find where to change my name to mom for my kid and it wont let me make another contact. Any ideas?
I saw this and imagined myself as a kid from the 80s… this is like Penny’s watch from Inspector Gadget. While this thing is cool… as soon as your kids are old enough to understand that this is a virtual leash, they will outsmart the technology and leave it where they are supposed to be and go wherever they want. They need to have a sensor on it that detects temperature so if your kid takes it off you know they aren’t wearing it.
@@PabstOban Motion tracking with a timer. If the watch is still for more than say 15-30 mins then it can alert you. It shouldn't be hard to implement in the software since the watch already has a gps and accelerometer (for motion).
That's what the manufacturer needs to work in either to add up too motion detector if the device is motionless for like 15-20 it will send a signal or heat sensor,if the device is not with definitely the temperature sensor will send a signal
These things are complete junk. I just got one and regret it. The buttons are hard to press and do not respond. You can tell that it is very cheap. I would not want my kid to depend on this.

Yea! Very true! Glad you pointed that out!
very good
I wish they would add video calls and or photo captures sync to a cloud.
If the software/service is reliable, it seems like a winner
I’m getting a gab watch for Christmas and my friend has one and I know how to control it now because of you! It’s so fun!
I'm definitely buying this device for all 3 of my children! Thanks Greggles!
Your KIDS?? aww hell no.
it's for ME.
So it’s real time gps, like if I want to see exactly where they are on the bus, it won’t lag behind?

Interested in knowing this as well.
my brothers Gabb phone has been unplugged since he got it- it's been 4 days. He's at 30%. At least you know the battery life on the Z2 is INSANE.
My daughter uses her watch consistently and we have to charge it every two days which is less than my phone needs to be charged! (Every night)
@@britnys4511 Is the battery life still the same or does it seem the battery lost some integrity already?
Two things I gotta know before getting. It’s resistance to water and it’s typical battery life.
yes and idk😅
I really appreciate your thorough review of the Gabb watch.
Are you able to listen to the child talking to people as an intercom where they are? That is what some of us need
No

Can I connect it with other cell phone service like t-mobile, metro pcs ,etc
Thank you for this. I was looking for an in depth review.
Can you silent the phone for example if they are in class ?
yes
When i text my daughter's watch it doesn't vibrate or make a sound. Is there a way to enable this?
does it have a timer or stop watch?
If i got both my kids Gabb watches can i set it up so they can call and text eachother?
Thank you for this video. This is what I needed for my boys.
How does it compare to ticktalk 4 watch and others?
How many contacts can you set?
Is there a limit to the amount of contacts that can be added to the watch?
25 contacts
Is there any way they can type whatever they want or only pre typed messages
Yes sure,I think he mentioned that.
Can this watch fit a bigger kid’s wrist? Or can it fit an adult wrist?
You can get more/different bands on Amazon!
it shows its free limited is it true
What is the band width?
do we have to buy a SIM card to make calls ? 😳
Would TWO parents be able to add the app to their devices (iPhones) or can the app only work for one device / apple account?
Yes, you can add another guardian as well.. I just got mine in today and I love it for my son!!

Yes if you add them to the contacts

Thank you for this informative review and for the discount code.
Is there a weather app?
Can the child text their own message back to the parent instead of the preset message?
That's what I want to know too! Can't figure it out!
No they can't type their own message but you can set more presets and they are able to record voice recordings and send those as a text 😊
Yes of course
Thank you so much now I know what to get my daughter for her birthday
Do kids complain about the size? My daughter has an angel watch and she complains that it is too heavy for her wrist.
The difference between the angel watch and this is. I think the angel watch can listen to conversations but this cannot. Is that correct?
How is the signal on this thing?
So i just got our watch today and i can’t rename myself as mommy. It’s just showing my actual name. How can i change that
Can you call child and auto answer from the app without child having to click anything?
Can you download app on this smartphone?
Christmas is coming soon so maybe I could have a gabb smart watch with a tracker and a phone in the watches
It's copying off the gizmo watch?!!!!
is it working all over the world ?
Does this work in Europe?
What happened the child Don't want to call you can you still ✔️ there location where they at on your phone
Thank you for the review!
Need one with a shocker attached 😅
Can you type your own texts
And other questions is it good for a 13 year old
yes as long as you don't want them to have internet...they can still text and call
Does kid watch need connect to wifi to locate his location?
The company that created the watch also has its own wireless network+service.
I have a question does my daughter have to have a phone to have that smartphone watch?
no you can use the watch independently. no phone is needed
