Should really just get corrugated accuvents they're only 2.59 a piece. If you do it like the left side you need to cut the batt smaller and put paper out. If you do it like the one on the right you need to spray foam the bottom and sides up to insulation level to avoid wind washing. If there isn't enough space at the eve for r-49 you need to leave the hose there and dense pack the eve for higher r value or else you get melt.

@@ethanwingsit np just talking from years experience. But just a disclaimer if it's just a garage, and it's not heated constantly, or only seldom used, do whatever works it'll be fine.

The upper panels should go under the lower. Condensation can run out to the soffit rather than dripping on the insulation.

I installed those baffles in my attic. They're flimsy and over priced. If I were to do it again, I would use half-inch rigid foam board with reflective foil and cut it off the right width so it bows slightly between rafters. Easy to install and longer lasting. Those baffles are junk.

Howdy! If you’re asking about vents it would depend on the structure of your roof but I believe each vent was around $2 and for my 24x24 garage I needed 50 since I extended them so around $100 total
