Thanks SilverFox. I seriously wanted to do this review from a pilot’s perspective and “no offense to the super techy guys” bore people to death with spectrum and power analytics. 👍🏻 Info anyone can digest and understand.
the interesting part is that the Walksnail shows more detail in the shadows. Which is more important for FPV. Look at the chicken wire as a comparison.
Stuck to analog and dji though. I have dji but why not get walksnail too it’s multi purpose. And can use any VRX and all in one goggles . But I’m waiting on new dji goggles too.
I went from v1 to googles 2 . Everything you meant is frustrating and true. But the OLED screens in the goggles 2 is a great improvement. I guess it kinda depends on how and where you fly. I love the goggles 2 but even the v1's are still more comfortable. The struggle is real. I understand why you like the v2's.
Hi Dronecamp, referring to the straps you can happily stitch extra velcro to the straps that would fix your issue for anyone with big head. Just a quick thought over my head 😂
The 03 dynamic range is off to me, av hd handled the shadows quicker. The speed for the shadow change may not matter on slow flight, fast flying it can help choose the path easier.
I think my next system will be walksnail instead of DJI. I never liked the penetration from HDZero, but this looks great. I just don't get why DJI has no HDMI in/out in the FPV space. Can't even fly VLOS when I'm alone.
Longer antennae get less interference from the motors. I'm not sure why. It's not internal, I'm sure. The longer the lollypop the better. Really good comparison. 👍👍
I appreciate the review! Got my eye on these X goggles, thinking about making the switch from HDZero to Walksnail! Any input on HDZero verses Walksnail is super welcome people🫡
Same boat as you. Love my hdzero, but sucks not many quads come out with it built in. Personally think I'm sticking with hdzero. Goggles are great, and they keep coming out with updated vtx hardware. And the extremely low latency, I'd really miss that.
@@dronecamps nvm I just understood the system. If I want to use the walksnail goggles, I also need the Avatar HD Pro kit or if i use DJI Goggles 2 i need the DJI O3 unit. Pretty new in the field. I also think the cetus x is a good choice for the very first time. Using the cetus x is there also a CE and FCC mode or is this something that belongs to a specific kind of drones? Sry if this is a stupid question for some.
Dji 03 is darker in the shadows. More contrast and saturation. You would have to actually see the screens in person to determine which is better quality. The Dji 03 cam does show noise indoors. The Walksnail does not so that is highly debatable.
This real world testing is much better than all those bench reviews, thanks!!

Walksnail ftw !!!
Has Walksnail fixed the 'meltzone' with this new goggle?
I like to see a >>fast
Man, that Boxer Max is a good looking radio. Every time I look at mine (red) I really like the styling and it looks great in gold too.
Yeah it is! 🏆
I wonder if you can plug this into a computer HDMI to use with a flight simulator?
Yes, It does.
are their broadcasting signals compatible? could you share the view from one to the other?
+1 Goggles V2: way better refresh rate (140 fps), fan (no fogging), ability to adapt analog (with DAC converter), better fit. I’ll stick with them

when will they release?@@samtarariverasanchez59

Can you get the flight control menu on the Walksnail goggles from the dji RC 2 with mini 3 pro?
What drone were you flying for the Avatar X tests?
Fantastic review!

Isn’t the goggles 2 antennas linear? Making them more compatible with the diapoles on quad vs lhcp antennas on quad?
If the v1 had analog compatibility, I would already own a pair

I dont think it's a patch antenna on top. I thought it was the bluetooth/wifi antenna?
What foam are you running on the goggles 2 Justin?
Thanks
Create video, really great information. DJI definitely has some real competition. Love your content. Keep it coming.
Hi, what was the power levels? Were they comparable?
Are the fatshark dominator hd goggles better or worse than the goggles x
Great review thanks
is the dji goggle smaler?
why you don't use the small antennas that came with the pavo20? too much worse?
No not at all. I just had some longer ones laying around so I used those 👍🏻
Can you make a new vedio range test 😅 with walksnail goggles x and goggles 2 moonlight 4k and o3 air unit
i am using djo o3 with google v2
So i sent the Avata back and ordered the Cetus X. Can i use these goggles with it?
Likely not unless your Cetus is Walksnail. Not sure they made a Walksnail version? It’s been a while since it came out. Good choice tho!!!

@dronecamps How did you get the walksnail in the pavo 20? Can you use the same cable of the O3?
what foam is on ur dji goggles 2?
I wish that avatar x can connect with dji o3 :,)
long range test please side by side dji g2
The dji goggles has a built-in patch maybe thats why maybe the signal on the x wasnt as good?
Anyone know which does better in low light?
still to early to judge where WS ends up , I'm a DJI guy but hoping great things from WS nice job WS
03 look darker but more HD, ws look great in light but not HD its more sharpener and white
03 def has darker blacks and the color saturation is cranked way up. So it dark spots it def has more shadows.
My opinion I like the 03 details better
Better details on the O3 outside but the dynamic range is worse.
Pixel-I-Zation 😂
Pixelation.
djo 03 gives way better quality image, clearer brighter and more details.
