I made these for my son's birthday yesterday. He had them earlier this year when he went to Rome and loved them so much that I wanted to make them for him. They turned out great!

Im Roman my son travels a lot in Rome for his job " flight attendant" I make maritozzi and he said mine are better than some of the ones he had in Rome .My friends want to come over all the times just to taste them ahain .I use cranberries or rausins or pine nuts in the dough too.Your recipe is marvellous .I dont use iving sugar on top .Its not necessary
