The Cyberpunk genre is one of my favorites because you can remove the futuristic theme and it'd be an accurate criticism to how our society is actually controlled by corporations and algorithms. And the worst thing is that they hit in the nail.
Samurai was right all along...
Even with the futuristic theme, its still a realistic critique of modern life. We are living in a cyberpunk dystopia, and not the fun one where any joe shmoe can pick up organized crime and become a legend.
yeah but nuking half a city seems kind of a overkill + it didn't do anything useful overall lol
time to start chippin in.
@@Ants_Pants That was actually a millitech strike to end the corp wars. Johnny Silverhand was there but so was Morgan Blackhand, a groupe of aldecaldos and a bunch of millitech soldiers. The memories you see in Cyberpunk 2077 are tainted by Johnny's ego, cause that's what you have in your brain, his ego, his idea of self. The real Johnny is long gone, he died in 2023.
Ultimately it's the United Nations and the Allies who won.
That moment when you realize you're already in the dystopian future and it happened without you noticing.
I've noticed for a while
Sure, if you lack basic pattern recognition, I’m sure it would sound silly.

I completely agree.
I listen to this on a daily basis. Usually when planning my Cyberpunk RED sessions
Is it just me or does the intro sound like the Never Fade Away cover? I mean, health has a song made for the game already lol
like.. from 2077?
@@enterthedragon9427 yeah for the game
It's the song when you visit johnny grave
Basically it kinda is but isn’t. This album is supposed to be an album of collabs. That’s why the song is called cyberpunk 2020. They mixed their own tunes into parts of the song. The tunes are similar to never fade away because they did it on purpose. I find it pretty clever. It’s like a remix.
@@wutais Its not, that song is Never Fade Away, the cover from that Finnish chick.

Yea boi First Max Payne 3 and now CP2077 yea
The future is fascinating but yet so terrifying
I know health from max payne 3.this music bring up my memory. I cried with this game. This music really like tears. Such a perfect music
That was a remarkable video and song. Captures the reality we’re living in. The reality “conspiracy theorists” were called crazy for warning about
But average conspiracy theorists always miss the real problems (first of all, the current incarnation of technological capitalism) and get manipulated by those in power into believing new version of old theories (antisemitism, distrust for science and intellectuals, no-vax, flat earth) that don't challenge the current economic and power structure.
@@keysersozefede I understand where you're coming from and agree with a lot of it. However, I disagree with some points. I wouldn't call this technological capitalism. I don't believe we have capitalism. The US and most, if not all, Western nations are already socialist for the most part. As soon as we allowed corporations to lobby and pass laws to pass sanctions that stifle competition, we lost our free market.
Some would say that's a product of capitalism, but I would call it a product of corporatism and bigger government. Corporations and robber barons disguise themselves behind the mouthpieces of puppet politicians (that they fund) and mass media (that they fund completely). We know this because of their money trail. They actually actively promote and fund movements that support socialist policies. They disguise these policies as humanitarian but they are littered with bad intentions.
I'm not accusing you of this but many confuse "anti-vaxxers" with those that are against forced inoculation. I disagree with anti-vaxxers for the most part but I think they're crucial. Big pharma should always be questioned. I agree with antisemitic rhetoric distracting from the real problem. I disagree with blindly trusting scientists and intellectuals. We know History. We have seen the haunting dangers of blindly believing a scientific elite (technocrats). Questioning science IS practicing science.
Not to mention the fact that scientists are influencers. Influencers hold power over public opinion and behavior. If you control the scientific elite and the top organizations that fund their grants, you hold an immense amount of power over actions made to people's health ($500 billion industry). There's a reason Epstein would coerce Scientists and top college professors to his disgusting island to get blackmail on them.

That's the issue though. Capitalism in a pure form is freedom. The government is completely hands off. Our society is going socialism and that's why the economy is failing. Just like the Soviet Union, which lacked the technology we have now by the way, multiple systems of control have been slowly implemented since the 1960's. Government controls the land, food supply, local government, fuel, the education system, land development, and in some ways your paycheck. America is turning into a high tech Soviet Union and our society is celebrating the decline of democracy, free speech, informed discussion, local representation, identity, the destruction of our economy, manipulation of science and history for political ideological and racial agendas, and the slow destruction of the natural world.
Seriously, Cyberpunk was made in Poland. Why would you think Night City is capitalist? Polish hate socialism. They were subtly picking on Californians for dragging America into a socialist dystopia.

¿Cyberpunk 2077 official song soundtrack?
This music video hits a very specific spot in my chest. Most people know the Cyberpunk I.P. for the disaster that is 2077, but the aesthetic in this video very much derives its inspiration from the original TTRPG released in 1990, which is also where song gets its name from lmao. The black and red color scheme matches the cover of the manual and even uses the same designation of calling rare and experimental weapons "Exotics". Idk, it's a very very specific type of nerdy that I happen to be and there's some...comfort in that. Anyways, check out the RPG if you can, it's very good and there's a reason why people still play it 30+ years later!
The game was a masterpiece. The hate for that game is wrong on every level. The story, the music and the graphics were amazing, the acting was of the highest quality and generally the writing was amazing. People like you give a good game a bad name. Shame on you.
@@christianriddler5063 Nah
@@mo_mojave -10 points, oof.
The only disaster is that most of people will never understand the weight of CP2077 stories and what they meant.
And it's one of the main reasons why this world is so fucked up - people judging by the cover and not by the content of the book. And, to be honest, masses can't understand such things even if they wanted - because they lack of brain(analytical abilities/critical thinking) or heart(to have empathy and ability to place yourself in the shoes of main character) or their life experience is so primitive that they never thought about some complex stuff, and never cared about these life related topics.
As've been said in the game, 'and the masses'll live on with their pipe dreams'.
This fact along is more frightening than any depicture of the dark future.
As Silverhand said in the ending, "And what did you expect?... Wrong city, wrong people'
Nothing can be done here, just facing the fact. We're surrounded by such people the whole life and it's hard to find kindred spirit or decent folks - and it's one the main topics of the game as well...
But i think it's for better - at least, it can tells a lot about the person and some of his abilities.
@@namelesssoul8633 I think you're projecting a bit. I never said why I thought 2077 was a disaster, and I can guarantee you that I actually did really like the main story. My main problem with the game were the massive quality drops in terms of content outside of the main story: general gameplay balance and the awful, awful technical issues on launch. Please do not bring this "kids these days" stuff to the table when you won't even entertain the the idea that the game could be even slightly flawed, even for a mega fan of the world, of which I am.
