Hats off to the audio engineer(s) at KEXP for nailing EVERY MIX for EVERY performance. They need to be more recognized for this, for real. Literally perfect mix every time, and its not like every band sounds the same. A LOT of dynamic bands play here.
As someone who used to do live sound and mixing for bands in bars locally... yes. 1000x yes. This is a great example of a skill so successfully implemented that nobody even notices it as a skill.

The most fabulous thing here is Jake front and centre. Johnny rules the roost as far as HEALTH socials so it’s so nice to hear Jake run the show and give his experience. YOU WILL LOVE EACH OTHER.
I saw HEALTH open for NIN in 2008 - I had never even heard their name until maybe 30 minutes before the show started, much less their music - and their set absolutely blew me away. Still to this day one of the best openers I've seen at a major concert. I'm so happy to see the traction they've gained over the last several years.

If anyone sounds like a modern version of NIN it’s HEALTH… crazy noise off this project man. Just sounds so unhinged while being incredibly well hinged Wouldn’t even say I like them but I feel this band more than most. Sometimes I dislike parts of their stuff but it’s just the ability to evoke a feeling that i appreciate

Found this, started it up and am blown away. I think I may have discovered a new group. And a cover of my favorite band, Deftones? I had chills with their take.
My daughter took me to see this amazing band 3 weeks ago and I tell you they are even better live and here's ignorant me thinking that there was a good handful that might also like Feel Nothing but when they started the crowd erupted, soooo fuking good, go see them if you get a chance
i don't spend much time on youtube anymore but thank you HEALTH thank you KEXP this is really good and i know i will listen to it a lot more both of you are always doing some of the best stuff on this website
