The instruments make the music come alive. Beats are great for a bop, partying, or easy listening, but I’m with you, the live band just creates emotions in the soul… makes you remember memories and relive moments in your past, or creates hunger for future fulfillment.

I heard “Can I call you rose” today 8/6/24 and I was floored that the group and the song was from the 2020s! I came to this tiny desk concert video after immediately looking them up and I was not disappointed! From beginning to end was fire! I too am an 80s baby but I was feeling this concert. They are coming to my neck of the woods and I hope that I will be available to go and see them, honestly.

I know old music, its not many songs from the past generations that I dont know. I listen to older songs on a constant basis. This song popped up on a random shuffle one day and I was like, now holdddddd on.. where tf did this come from? I dont know this one or this band. I was shocked when I found out it was a modern band and not an oldie because their sound said otherwise. Out fkn standing! Please don't stop making music. It's refreshing to hear a fresh take on earlier generational music. ❤

I discovered this band while livestreaming a tiny radio station in Hawaii. I heard "Will I See You Again?" and was hooked instantly. That was before they were known. They had only released two songs. I went down the rabbit hole of every Cali souldies band, finding the Altons, Sinseers and Los Yesterdays. Thee Sacred Souls is still my favorite. I was so excited to see them take off! And I got to see and hear them live at their first concert in Chicago at a hole-in-the-wall club. What a treat!
