Some parts sound like the original recording just with different compression/reverb on it maybe? It's definitely hard to be certain. If it is a new recording, she nailed it. It also could be alternate takes that weren't used, from the original recording.

I think they did! At a few parts it sounded like she was singing in places that she didn't sing in the original. It could be a mix of both!
