I don't understand why some 'fans' here act like this is 'crap'. Bowies voice is better than ever and I'm glad he put the old 'shit' behind (just using your bad tongue) and write some awesome 'new' stuff. If you don't like it, go away and spread your bad energy somewhere else!
Agreed! I actually think Heathen and Reality were very strong albums and some of his best work in years. I have his Reality tour DVD which features his live concert filmed in Dublin, Ireland. It is a very solid piece of work both musically and artistically and the sequence of songs and variety of offerings from different periods in his career work extremely well together. The concert also sees Bowie seemingly at ease with himself and the crowd and without any of the legendary personae or visual trappings that characterized earlier points in his career.. Additionally, his voice sounds strong and holds up remarkably well throughout the show and right up to the final encore. The only thing that is disappointing about the concert is that it comes from what would end up being his final tour as, apart from a handful of random live appearances at different events, he would suffer a heart attack on stage during the European leg of it, be forced to cancel the remaining shows and never tour again.
How he stayed vital, artistic, and interesting for decades defies gravity. He was the Starman, and a legend like no other. But at least we lived in his time. ⭐
From the begging to the sad and empty (for us all) end I have loved this man and his incredible talents, name 'em, anything you can think of, he did it! From the bottom of my heart I say...We had never before nor will we ever again see the likes of this man; David Jones, known to the world as the One, the Only, the Supernatural Talent...DAVID BOWIE!!!
I think this is my favorite song. Altho he wrote in riddle (a combination of voice, melody, rhythm, and performance) I think I'm starting to get it. His voice carries a souls' message from the stars (best to listen with headphones just before bed). I hope he's swimmin' with dolphins - how lucky we were to have had him!
i've been a Bowie fan since i first heard Suffragette City when i was twelve...and have seen him live quite a few times....and i think "New Killer Star" is a good song... period.
So much of his music I have missed. This is awesome. I remember when Elvis died, John Lennon and Michael Jackson. Though they were all Icons in their own right, and sudden deaths, not one of them hit me as hard as David's . He was the whole package, artistic, sexy, talented, and a mesmerizing voice that I never tire of hearing. Even when he sings other artists song , some singers that would piss me off but not David. Wish I could have seen him in a live concert.
+Janet me too Janet...I listen to him everyday since he passed...Elvis and Pavarotti hit me hard too...How blessed we are to have their music continue...Just beautiful Souls.
Beautiful words Janet... Guess you guys know that Elvis and Bowie share a birthday and that Elvis was one of his inspirations to become a "rock star" as he professed while still in school? This alien creature restores my belief in humanity... :)

fab David. Loved him. And still miss him. I can,t explain it but apart from being such an innovative musician he was a genuine nice man. With such a lovely smile. I feel for his family because they must be completly lost not to have this amazing man in their lives any more.
Love this! 2016 was oh so cruel. I hope they’re all playing together in one big band and singing the roof off that stadium in Heaven. All of them. Cx ❤️
i gave up on bowie when he went through the tin machine phase but i bought the book david bowie and the seventies at the end of the book it says how after doing the buhuda of suburbia it shocked bowie back into the studio and the work he created after this is fantastic stuff toy his unreleased masterpiece then outside, earthling, hours, heathen and finally the outstanding reality he certianly finished on a high because he is now retired what a man what a career up there with the beatles
Nah, Bowie's not dead. He's just fed up of this crappy side of the world, and moved to the Antarctica on a lush island, where he sees wooly mammoths, previously thought extinct dinosaurs, clean air, no idiot, hollyweird, alleged musician celebrities selling more records based on the popularity of their lunacy, where food is not tainted with GMO's, and where peace reigns..
If David Bowie was to do a tour with all his clasic's then I would definitely buy tickets and am sure it would be a sell out !!!! so as a money maker why does his agent not do this? is it so obvious?????????????

yesss. their loss really, such great material.
He was awesome and had more swagger than ever.
Legendary star, voice, sound, style and magical human! Missed, but this type of footage is priceless.
How he stayed vital, artistic, and interesting for decades defies gravity. He was the Starman, and a legend like no other. But at least we lived in his time. ⭐
This band is smoking!!!!! And Dave B. as usual----frigging superb!

Superbo!!! Love Bowie forever
Fantastic!
MESMERIZING in its structured simplicity.
"LIKE SEEING JESUS ON DATELINE."
My eyes swell with tears of joy. Sono stato commosso.
Sooo damn good !
i've been a Bowie fan since i first heard Suffragette City when i was twelve...and have seen him live quite a few times....and i think "New Killer Star" is a good song... period.
You are lucky you had the privilege to see him live, I wish I met him...
I love Gail Ann Dorsey. 😁
Bowie = Legend. Wonderful act
This is great song
One of the greatest on Reality, in my opinion... And my favourite is Bring me the Disco King:)
This alternate ending i've never heard before is really cool. It's just 10 seconds but still.
It fades out on the record, does it not? When playing a song live, one occasionally has to get creative.

Lyrics:
See the great white scar
Over Battery Park
Then a flare glides over
But I won't look at that scar
Oh, my nuclear baby
Oh, my idiot trance
All my idiot questions
Let's face the music and dance
Don't ever say I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready
I never said I'm better, I'm better, I'm better
Don't ever say I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready
I never said I'm better, I'm better, I'm better, I'm better than you
All the corners of the buildings
Who but we remember these?
The sidewalks and trees
I'm thinking now
I discovered a star
(I got a better way) Ready set go
(I got a better way) A new killer star
(I got a better way) Ready set go
(I got a better way) The stars in your eyes
(I got a better way) Ready set go
(I got a better way) I discovered a star
(I got a better way) Ready set go
See my life in a comic
Like the way they did the bible
With the bubbles and action
The little details in color
First a horseback bomber
Just a small thin chance
Like seeing Jesus on dateline
Let's face the music and dance
Don't ever say I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready
I never said I'm better, I'm better, I'm better

usc trojans1987 George Michael too. 🌠
Claudia May while I fear death, the thing that doesn’t frighten me is hopefully getting to cross paths with the Thin White Duke.
usc trojans1987 I want to see George Michael again and hope I do, one day. Cx 💞
Dave----------the frigging Geniussssssssss>>>>>>>>>>>
Buen material friend!
sublime!
i gave up on bowie when he went through the tin machine phase but i bought the book david bowie and the seventies at the end of the book it says how after doing the buhuda of suburbia it shocked bowie back into the studio and the work he created after this is fantastic stuff toy his unreleased masterpiece then outside, earthling, hours, heathen and finally the outstanding reality he certianly finished on a high because he is now retired what a man what a career up there with the beatles
He did - the Reality Tour several years ago.
Clean
I want to see him in a duet with Ricky Gervais. That'd be pure awesomeness.
Che bono da sentisse male❤
now.. how to say this nicely.... no ones forcing you to watch this, dont like it your opinion go watch what you want. Just dont hate here

And he’s waiting until COVID blows over to see his family again.
New Kiwwa Star
XD !
I thought tin machine was really good
If David Bowie was to do a tour with all his clasic's then I would definitely buy tickets and am sure it would be a sell out !!!! so as a money maker why does his agent not do this? is it so obvious?????????????
Because he had enough money back then?
@@MIClimate it wasn't just about money... he stopped touring after having a heart attack on stage
Looks like you still have to grow up. Bowie has.................But everyone has his own taste.
you do know he hasn't released an album for 9 years, right?
He seemed nervous here, wonder why
