I can provide some (probably unwanted) perspective on this. An echo is a non overmold hex. It uses a similar, if not the same mold. The only difference is they just let the plastic go all the way to the edge instead of cutting it off to add the rim. They do have slightly different flight numbers with the stability. An echo is SLIGHTLY less stable hex. Now. Not only are the flight numbers different along with the feel. They are 2-3$ cheaper MSRP. So they can still say "gyro is better, hence the price of gyro compared to our non gyro option." So from a manufacturing perspective and some pretty heavy speculation, let's say they don't have the material to make the rims or something along those lines. Usually it's the same plastic with an little extra something to make it more dense. But they have the neutron plastic ready to roll. Cool. We will let it ride and make some more echos and still get money from the materials we have waiting around. So fits a different market and helps manage costs and wasted materials and a wasted opportunity cost of not having discs on shelves. And I am biased as hekk. I love MVP SHTUFF.
I’m always looking for conversation! Seems like you know more about it than me😂 it’s ok to be biased sometimes I love mvp too but I sometimes wonder if it’s really worth it
Some of us don't like the overmold feel. Especially on drivers. I have been putting with ions for 8 years. I am a huge fan of the glow lift and want a glow pilot for the last few holes of the round.
@@curtisridenour yeah i totally agree i have been trying to throw a time lapse but man I just dont know how I feel about it. I'll just stick to wraiths and destroyers for now
My Jet is as flippy as yours. I slowed down your throws on RUclips and you where on beautiful hyzer angle and it still flipped and turned over! I think you have either slow down the arm or put even more hyzer on it with the Jet. My favorite is the Drift 174g. Beautiful flight with mild turn 315ft for me on my "bomb" shots. 60yo noodle arm. Would love to throw the whole line up but, I think the Echo and Drift and the Lift(which is beefy for me. No turn at all. Great head wind disc)
@@ShankSquadd thanks. I'm thinking of playing in MA 60 tournaments this year. I'm sure I'll have my butt handed to me. Wish I found this sport when I was 20-30yo and I'd have all my form issues ironed out by now and no low back pain:)
The Jet is actually really solid and one of my favorites. You just really have to dial in the angle control and give it height. I use it a lot at my home course for very specific hyzer flips or late turnovers. That being said, I never throw it when I play Bryan. I definitely lean towards more stable 11 speeds or use a catalyst when playing there. Also, you may prefer a Proton plastic Jet, as they're more stable.
I crush the Drift 174g in Neutron plastic. Shocked me, as I gave it a lot of throws in Florida. Was getting great turn and then fade back 305-315ft!. Thats huge for my 60yo noodle arm. Very much a believer in the Drift. I might get a couple more in case I loose one. I'm shocked at how overstable the Lift Cosmic Neutron is at 169g. I use it into the wind and is quite straight. Maybe I'm really a 7-8 speed arm and the 9 speed Lift will just be my overstable driver. I'm cool with that.
When searching for discs from MVP/Axiom/Streamline it's a huge pita to not have them together. As much as I like their discs, I think they are idiots for doing this.
I actually bag three Stabilizers in different stages of wear. My oldest one became that flippy that it replaced a Pure that I carried for years. It’s my most thrown disc. I love Stabilizers!
Lift, jet, drift are my jam. Yes they are awesome.
Yeah no kidding definitely underrated molds

I like Streamline for forehand since grip is so important there. The lift is money.
Yeah it seems really nice!
I like the Lift I have in glow. Streamline offers an overmold alternative for MVP/Axiom throwers. It has a market for sure.
I understand your point, sometimes I just wonder why they would make it if their whole claim is gyro is better…. But then again it’s money so lol
@@ShankSquadd Totally agree.

@@markhumphrey8894 I think you might surprise yourself!
Pilot, Jet, Trace
pilot goes in the basket off the tee
It’s pretty dope ngl
Runway is pretty great for a forehand mid... Plus they make Mint's stuff so might as well... The side injection marks are a little weird though.
This whole market confuses me a lot lol

Good thought! I love super flippy discs I just was playing so bad that day I didn’t give it a good chance
The drift is my go to for a straight flyer with a little fade for 200 to 300 ish
My dad loves that disc so much maybe I’ll try it more

I like that crisp mic 😫
Yeah it sounds better huh
I enjoy the flare for longer flexy scramble shots
Now that I could see a use for but good lord my noodle arm ain’t gonna find a use for it

@@cardcollector0533 but its fun to throw so thats all that matters lol
Almost at 500!
So close!
Innova is better!
I would agree
I use the first disc everyday
lol
I putt with pilots they're crazy
If you like beaded putters it’s amazing. I like it better than the “legendary” judge lol
@MulliganDG I also bag a lift idk what to think yet only played 2 round with it

No they shouldn’t 😀
Interesting!
Trace Proton. Insanely good.
Proton make it more stable?

nope they suck
