Dude, do the iPhones have to be close together? Or is it normal to leave the second iPhone at home and go out with the other device? When someone calls me on the second device (my device at home), will I receive the call on the first device (the one with me outside the home)?
No. It has to be in range.
On my phone it not shows the other device why ??
You can receive calls. Is it possible to do it the other way around? Make a call from another iPhone?
Let’s say you have two iPhones. One of them has a mic problem. Can you make a call from it and talk with the other one?
Does the 2nd phone need a sim even if not activated to service? I click “calls on other devices from active iPhone & it turns off when I leave & come back. The no sim iPhone has “Phone” & “Cellular”dimmed out.
You don't need a SIM on the second device.
When I get to (2:03) I phone/calls on other devices I get message “cannot turn on, FaceTime & iCloud must be signed into same Apple ID” but they are, the active line has card moved from old phone to new then mirrored to set up and it’s good to go old phone is still backing up and I can use iMessage
Old phone is 6S Plus no sim, current is XS Max active w/ sim on big carrier support of WiFi calls, both unlocked on iOS 14.3 on same Apple ID same WiFi network

Yes you can… from my iPhone I dial*72 the number of my android area code and phone number then it’s going to do a couple of beeps to let you know it’s activated, then to deactivate I dial *73 only and you will hear a couple of beeps , not sure if this program will work for you probably depending where you live, Im currently using Xfinity mobile

Works for me. I can place a call on any device (tablet or watch) through the iphone.

Some phone companies offer to copy your sim. I think T-Mobile does it. I’m not sure if it costs extra tho. Apple and android will probably never work this good together by just using an apple id
Any way to do the same with android devices? I know how screen mirroring works but I don't want one device to mirror another one but want them to be able to use separately but when one device rings, the other one should display the incoming call.
Android can’t do it since it’s ecosystem isn’t like apples, apples ecosystem works well together and sync together androids devices don’t
If you have samsung devices then you can also use this feature other than that i don't think it's available for other brands
