Great video, appreciate your feedback! I was tilted forward so hard early its tricky to step back and think out a defense.

really if there is a unit I consider crucial to any soviet division it is definitely Razvedka, having those bazooka available along with solid recon it is just a great unit. if I were to pick the highest value soviet units in each tab it would probably be.
    Razvedka
    Tankodesant
Tie between T-34/85 or the 76mm version
Tie between the OB-25 and the SU-152 (SU-122 honorable mention)
Zis-2 (honestly not that great in the grand scheme of things but its capable)
Soviet AA is meh across the board but the Zis-12 (double 25mm) is at least decent
152mm for howitzer and SU-76M for self propelled guns.
not sure what air I would pick but the IL-2-37 is really good.

I always struggle to have the razvedkas where i need them I feel like with limited avail in A i am reluctant to use them early and lose them in the inf brawls.
I didnt trade very well with them this match but i feel like the 34/85s can punch up well. The 76s at 55 points I feel can be tricky to position for trades with so much at inf in the axis decks. I wind up using them as screens for the bigger tanks in an open push but im not sure thats a good use of points either

@@DrWacher Razvedka can definitely be tricky to use but the biggest thing is to avoid getting them into fights with enemy troops as much as possible, keep them on return fire and keep them behind your troops if you plan to kill a tank with them.
like have a unit or two of Tankos or Avtos in front of them whenever they are in the woods and if you know a tank is near the woods use that 250 meter range to reach out from the treeline and snipe a tank before falling back.
also a little bit heavier usage of artillery could help out your playstyle, don't go overboard but especially with cheap artillery like the 76mm use some radio scouts and at least a pair of 76mm to drop shells on problem targets you see, its a great way to bleed AT guns and machineguns from an opponent which are crucial tools for axis to be able to counter the large quantity of soviet armor.
definitely a key takeaway from AtkPwr's commentary would be knowing where each infantry unit will be best suited. Gvardia should almost never go into a forest unless you know the forest has no enemy troops in it and that you can set them up to guard the treeline, Saperi are basically Gvardia with a grenade and they are best used to hold towns and can support Avto in the forest in a pinch to provide a grenade in a tough fight.
