    LYRICS ...
The future needs a big kiss
    Winds blows with a twist
Never seen a moon like this
    Can you see it too?
    Night is falling everywhere
    Rockets at the fun fair
    Satan loves a bomb scare
    But he won’t scare you
    Hey, sexy boots
    Get on your boots, yeah
You free me from the dark dream
    Candy floss ice cream
    All our kids are screaming
    But the ghosts aren’t real
    Here’s where we gotta be
    Love and community
    Laughter is eternity
    If joy is real
    You don’t know how beautiful
You don’t know how beautiful you are
You don’t know, and you don’t get it, do you?
You don’t know how beautiful you are
    That’s someone’s stuff they’re blowing up
    We’re into growing up
    Women of the future
    Hold the big revelations
    I got a submarine
    You got gasoline
I don’t want to talk about wars between nations
    Not right now
    Hey sexy boots
    Get on your boots, yeah
    Not right now
    Bossy boots
    You don’t know how beautiful
You don’t know how beautiful you are
You don’t know, and you don’t get it, do you?
You don’t know how beautiful you are
    Hey sexy boots
I don’t want to talk about the wars between the nations
    Sexy boots, yeah
    Let me in the sound
    Let me in the sound
Let me in the sound, sound
Let me in the sound, sound
    Meet me in the sound
    Let me in the sound
Let me in the sound, now
    God, I’m going down
    I don’t wanna drown now
    Meet me in the sound
    Let me in the sound
    Let me in the sound
Let me in the sound, sound
Let me in the sound, sound
    Meet me in the sound
    Get on your boots
    Get on your boots
    Get on your boots
    Yeah hey hey

Bob Dylan came up to Elvis Costello at an event and said to to him '”U2! How could they do that to you? How could they take your song like that?” It took Costello a couple of minutes to realize Dylan was talking about this song, which has parts derived from Costello’s “Pump It Up”. But Dylan was also taking a jab at Costello, because “Pump It Up” was derived from Dylan’s “Subterranean Homesick Blues”. Costello then pointed out that Dylan’s masterpiece (and all three of the above songs) were derived in part from Chuck Berry’s “Too Much Monkey Business".

That distinctive chime of Edge’s guitars. The melodic hum and f Bono’s vocals. That’s U2!

When i was, like, 4 years old, i was singing this song while trying to put my sock on. It was really hard to do for some reason and i just sat there for a few minutes struggling.

I never realized how great & amazing, this music video is, of course one of best music videos, of U2 career, but i still think that Magnificent, Moment Of Surrender or Breathe was a better choice as first single of NLOTH Album.

This may not be one of their best songs, but the Edge's guitar is just so powerful and energetic when my ipod is on shuffle and this song comes up, I instantly become happy and confident.

Get On Your Boots by U2 is musically edgy and refreshing to listen to. The cherry imagery and the colorful models featured in the music video add to the spice and intriguing scandal music energy.

U2, a band of heart and soul,
Their music speaks to us, makes us whole.
    From Dublin, Ireland they hail,
Their message, their mission, never stale.
    Bono's voice, a powerful force,
The Edge's guitar, its own source.
Adam and Larry hold the beat,
Together, they create a heavenly feat.
Their songs, they tell a story,
    Of love, loss, and glory.
    With lyrics that cut deep,
Their music is something to keep.
"Sunday Bloody Sunday," a cry for peace,
"One," a reminder, we're all in this lease.
"Pride (In the Name of Love)," a tribute to MLK,
Their songs inspire us to seek a better way.
    Through the years, they've evolved,
Their sound, their style, always involved.
But what never changes, their passion,
For music, for justice, for compassion.
So here's to U2, a band of heart and soul,
Their music, a gift that never grows old.
They've left their mark on history,
And for that, we're eternally grateful, you see
