Because only through failure is true character revealed. 💪
Que lección interesante porque hay cinco palabras muy parecidas y tendemos a confundirlas. Muchas gracias por tu aporte y esfuerzo. God bless.

Me fascinan este tipo de lecciones. La TH de Through en inglés se pronuncia poniendo la lengua entre los dientes, mientras que la T de True se pronuncia casi igual que en español, al menos es lo que hago.

Yes. La T en inglés is like the sound "ch" a veces... TRICK [CH-RIK]. TRUE [CH-R-U]. Obviously, I am not using the International Phonetic Alphabet right now but you should understand what I am trying to explain.

@@theenglishvox Of course, I get your point. El sonido de la T en inglés puede variar dependiendo de la palabra, y en efecto suele sonar como la CH española cuando la pronunciamos y sin darnos cuenta.

      Hi Luis,
I just checked different books online/websites and I can't find specific rules for words ending in -GH. I also asked a friend of mine who teaches English in Quebec (a French province) and she says for most of these words ending in -GH, there is often no logic. I read that in many of the cases, you would have to look up the etymology to understand why they are pronounced a certain way. I know for a fact that here in Canada, we just learned the pronunciation of those words by memorizing it. 😬🫨. These words = a headache for English learners. If I find more answers, I will share them here.

@@theenglishvox Thank you Lily. Today I downloaded CHAT GPT, I got some answers and it suggested me couple English grammar books like, the blue book. But I'm still loyal to you.
      THANK YOU MY QUEEN.
