I noticed that. I believe I mentioned that on a forum I visit. Oddly enough though the ride on the Permobil is better. The Permobil has a longer wheelbase and very good suspension on all four wheels.
I'm not complaining though about the S-626, it's a very competent chair and is much better off pavement than the Permobil, but it does have a very short wheelbase and loud anti-tippers which are in constant contact with the ground.

I have personally owned and operated a Quickie S-626 power chair for over 10 years and I have driven it down worse gravel roads than the one in the video, and I can honestly say that does not sound like my chair going down a gravel road, but more like a toy wagon.

Blame my anti-tippers, the bearings were getting bad.
The S-626 had some flaws but it was a good chair. Mine was thirteen years old when I shot that video.
I loved the rear suspension on the S-626. I loved how maneuverable the S-626 was. I loved the speed. I loved the fact that for a powerchair it was not all that heavy.
That said, my C350 is considerably more comfortable and stable, though the rear suspension could be better.

I had a Quickie and then a Permobil. The Permobil is streets ahead of the Quickie. All around better chair.
