From what I heard the referee asked your Forward (I think he was Aymen! Correct me if I'm wrong) to come back and stop celebrating offensively twice but he ignored him and the referee, so he got sacked, it was a bit harsh from the referee but the player who has one yellow card have to be more careful

@@0H.M.H0 Dear brother, the Jordanian celebration was by the whole team, and earlier in the match. This late in the game, the referees become more sensitive about time wastage, and the other issue is he was delaying the game all by himself when the rest of the Iraqi team was ready to resume. He got warned and ignored the referee. I think it was still a harsh decision, but the AFC will always back the referee in such a case. We are emotional people and always looking for conspiracies, but professional referees who officiate important matches in the world cup care about their reputation.

In 1997 Azizi from Iran scored the second goal against Australia and jumped over the placards towards the crowd and took a long time to return to the pitch. Once the game resumed the referee gave him a yellow card for excessive celebrations. THIS IS NORMAL. It is the referee's duty to do it. Unfortunately Aymen Hussain was so happy, he probably did not remember he already had a yellow card. The referee also whistled for him twice to come back to the ground. But when he came back to the ground, he sat down again. This was after 70 seconds of celebrations. Referees allow around 30-40 seconds of celebration time. So the referee was in fact very kind to him but he still went far too far.
But this is not why Iraq lost. Iraq were 2-1 up but one man down. Best strategy was to slow the game and protect the ball. But watch the game again. I did not understand why they kept on playing an open game. What did they want to achieve by this? This showed lack of experience, and that is why they are not going to be the winners of this cup.
Nobody robbed Iraq. And Jordan played extremely well both in the first half and when they went behind. It's football. They persevered, they scored more goals, they won the game. That is why we all love football.

No I completely agree that the same act done by Jordan players should've gotten yellow card as well, but a ref can not keep on making the same mistake if he has done it once. Also the Iraqi player had already a yellow card and his second yellow card that we are talking about was correct. So even if the Jordan players would've gotten a yellow card, he would've gotten a Red anyway. @@dragonmaster3207

WHY WAS AYMEN SHOWN THE RED CARD?
The Law 12 of FIFA penalises excessive time-wasting, and choreographed goal celebrations. While it is permissible for a player to demonstrate his joy when a goal has been scored, the celebration must not be excessive.
Reasonable celebrations are allowed, but the practice of choreographed celebrations is not to be encouraged when it results in excessive time-wasting and referees are instructed to intervene in such cases.
A player must be cautioned if:
In the opinion of the referee, he makes gestures which are provocative, derisory or inflammatory
He climbs on to a perimeter fence to celebrate a goal being scored
He removes his shirt or covers his head with his shirt
He covers his head or face with a mask or other similar item
Leaving the field of play to celebrate a goal is not a cautionable offence in itself but it is essential that players return to the field of play as soon as possible.
Referees are expected to act in a preventative manner and to exercise common sense in dealing with the celebration of a goal.
Additionally, the referee is mandated to book a player if they remove their shirts for celebrating the goal.
Aymen, however, was penalised for excessive celebrations. Since he was already on a yellow card, which he got in the third minute of first-half stoppage time, the second one meant he had to leave the field.

The behavior of Ayman Hossein was not professional after and before his first yellow card and before his 2nd yellow card. Thr behavior of Iraqi journalist were not professional. Iraq has an amazing team with a limited international experience overall. It seems football fans and journalists and players there often get very emotional. Ayman Hossein was very rude towards the Australian referee after his first yellow card. Please note: the referee is the best referee from Asia. So, you may want to hear his perspective after making this judgment. Be objective not patriotic when wanting to know what happened!!!

    • @felixii4931
      @felixii4931 4 месяца назад

You sound very ignorant about the whole situation. Most of the referees are saying there's no reason for the second yellow card and not even the first yellow card. Plus this guy is an iranian australian who shouldn't be refeering this match because both of those teams are playing in the round of 16. Thirdly, he has a clear bias against Iraq, he was on 4 games of Iraq in the Asian cup in the past and Iraq lost all of them and got a red card in each. So again, if you don't know much about something it's better to learn about it.

    • @kamranforghani

@@felixii4931 thanks for the logical response! Clearly you are emotional. Number one: I don't understand why the DNA of a person is related to his job. Any professional referee or coach will be doing their best. Many times a coach from a country becomes the coach of their rivals. Does it mean this coach is biased and will ask to loose?
You need to watch how Iraq lost! Jordan was an amazing team. They played with no arrogance. After that second yellow 🟡 card your team should have closed the game but they opened the game! This is a failure. Number 2: what time exactly Ayman scored? What time he got the second card? What's the difference between the two? Ayman was yelling at the referee and was showing aggressive behavior towards him from the beginning and then ignoring him. The Iraq team has the same issue as the Iran team or many middle eastern teams: The emotions are very high and they lose their focus and professionalism. I do agree that the referee could let go! Referee has discretion often to let go. But Ayman behavior from the beginning resulted in the referee book him when he had the discretion not to do so. Anyhow, Iraq players are not playing in major league. They are amazing but they need to get out and learn professional stuff to be honest. Provoking and wasting time and ignoring referee and having journalists in the journalists section cheering Iraq team are not done by any team in this Asian AFC cup or major international events. Good luck with blaming the referee. If you want to blame him at least take some responsibility! This is a mentality in many counties to blame THE OTHER or the enemy or the foreigners or the US as the root cause of ALL THE ISSUES in their own countries! They never ever have a self critique and subjective review when it comes towards them. You should see all aspects of the game. Clearly, the red card played a role here! Could the events and emotions after that be managed by Iraq better ? Yes
Does Ayman Hossein behavior during the game in line with international standards? Absolutely not.
Does the behavior of Iraqi journalism during the live press conference professional? Absolutely not.
Is a referee who is the best Asian referee want to ruin his career by giving a making Iraqis get out to benefit Iran and Australia?! In your mind: Yes! In my mind: No!
Is Iraq full of talent? Yes!
Do they have international experience like Japan or Korea or Iran or Australia?
Not yet there! Football or soccer is not all about techniques. What you do and think out the pitch is what make the difference! The lack of professional mentality and exposure is what Iraq lost in spite of being a lovely team. Again, Jordan was amazing. Palestine was amazing. We need to acknowledge that too.

@@kamranforghani DNA isn't important, I was referring to the conflict of interest & his previous history with the iraqi team. There's clearly a bias & they should have selected a neutral referee whose team isn't involved in the championship like someone from kazakhstan for example. This is the clearest case that the asian cup federation isn't a professional organization & the decisions are made through connections.
The first yellow card was a clear foul for Aymen Hussein. The player jumped on him to win the ball. His protest was justified, the yellow card isn't & if the VAR was activated the foul would have been given & yellow card withdrawn. Secondly, the celebration time of Aymen was shorter than the celebration of the jordanian team. You can go check all the analysts who calculated the time & showed his celebration was 30 seconds shorter. If you looked at the face of the referee, he was so pissed off as if his team took the goal. Thirdly, there were about 5 or 6 instances on camera where the goalkeeper was insulting Iraqi fans and taunting them. Again, we didn't see any yellow cards for that for the jordanian team. So it is this stupid referee who is an amateur hater who isn't fit for important football games while Aymen abided by the rules all the time. Thirdly, no one denied that jordan played a great game, but this is was just the first half, the second half Iraq was totally dominating and converted the score until the surprising dismissal of the player.
Fourthly, Iraq already won that asian championship before during the worst of times in 2007. They know what are the rules & how things work and don't need lectures from amateurs. Fifthly, with all due respect, we've seen Iran in the world cup, they lost against USA & barely could win against wales and lost 5 goals against England, they were knocked out from an easy group. They're good on the local level but internationally not so.
