By far the best speedtree tutorial iv found. Thank you. Why is it so difficult to find usefull speedtree information? The tutorials that speedtree makes themselves are awful. Some of the worst iv seen anywhere.
thanks really appricaite man , but the speedtree tutorials arnt bad really good info in there :) planning on making new tutorials soon free ones as well as paid ones need to make make some sort of money from this lot of work goes in to making these tutorials :)
watching the tutorial gives me a headache. the fact that you make various changes within a very short time is one thing (although a mere mortal will also have difficulties here), but the fact that you then simply skip over certain points entirely is something else. i'm impressed by your final result, but the tutorial could be a bit longer and more detailed. I also have to say that I am new to working with speedtree.
Thanks for the feedback will keep that in mind for the next one 😄 i just realize that i didnt mention that this was for intermediate to advanced users sorry , next tutorial illl slow way down 👌🏻😁
It may be fast but it is by far the best speedtree tutorial iv seen. I was super irritated when i was first learning speedtree. Its so difficult to find good videos and info on speedtree. The videos that they make themselves are aweful and useless.
I have frequent issue in speedtree: "The length or radius value of this branch is larger than the kill ratio value. Lower the branch length or radius values, or raise the kill ratio value". What is the kill ratio value and where can i raise it?
this somes from the docs Length Kill Ratio Removes any branches where the length of the branch divided by its radius exceeds this value. Use this to automatically eliminate impossibly thin branches.
the leaf card is self is just to planes in a x shape as mentioned in tutorial that you can create in you DCC application , fellt i wasnt necary to record that Boring part haha
This is a fantastic and straightforward method to generate needle textures directly within SpeedTree. Thanks for the informative video.
You're very welcome! stay for more upcoming tutorials

@@MOTStudio thanks, I found it. Otherwise, it can't make an export of the mesh, if not to correct this mistake.
Excellent information but the editing is much too tight. This entire tutorial sounds like one long sentance. Very frustrating to follow.
Sorry about that , will talk to my editor
