The idea someone bought a bowling alley and converted it to a house but kept all the old signage is hilarious to me. People pulling up in their driveway like "are you guys open?"
I actually built a bowling alley house in the Sims 2 because the dude kept wanting to buy bowling lanes. Okay, my man, YOU are in charge. Bowling house it is!
I've had too many nightmares during my employment at various fast food places where my bedroom window became the drive thru window and customers would honk, yell, and berate me because I didn't have food for them. 😢 like can't you see this is where I sleep, why you yelling at me? 😂😂😂 wild

@@Eris1823I'm sorry that's so funny 😭 I volunteered at a dog rescue for years starting in high school and worked at a doggie daycare in highschool / a little after and I think the majority of my dreams involve me at some point realizing there are ALL these dogs in my house! Like I'm talking to someone and then I enter the kitchen and I'm like oh man I totally forgot I've been in charge of 15 dogs! Omg there's another in the cupboard I can't keep up!
Also this sort of home invasion sort of element that you describe?? Like not the dogs but it's always in the same dream. There's just these creeps who always want to invade my house but it always starts with them coming through the driveway to my backyard. They don't even pretend it's not what they're doing.
My last dream involving these things, I was trying to take a bunch of dogs out to pee and one of the scary home invaders opened the gate and let one out and I scolded him.
If one of my friends renovated a formally public space, I would absolutely knock on their door and ask if they were open on a regular basis.
We'll just pretend that _that_ room was going to be the playroom for the kids but the kids missed living in the country so much that their sim parent(s) made the whole thing into an indoor camping experience, because strange renovations are just what they LIVE for.

I love that the house is elevated slightly but one room is full of mud, I definitely envision these psychos bringing in buckets of mud into their bowling alley renno and just dumping it on the hardwood floor rather than uprooting the foundation

Challenge Idea: each room is a mix of 2 packs - 1 Expansion/Game and 1 Stuff Pack/Build Kit. Might work well like High School Years + Pastel Pop Kit - or totally clash like Werewolves + Luxury Party Stuff

Here’s a challenge that might be difficult but how about a build challenge but you spins wheel for a letter of the alphabet but you can’t use objects where their name has that letter in it. Would be a right faff but idk if anyone else has done it.

Just think of the outside as a ‘listed’ exterior. In the U.K. we have very strict regulations about listed buildings and them being preserved so just pretend that’s the reason the outside looks so jarring 😂
Here's an idea: a "room is X pack" build, but you have to roll multiple packs for each room - one for floors, one for walls, and one for furniture. The chaotic vibes would be immaculate

The way when it was outdoors i literally went “ooh maybe a lovely greenhouse, maybe with yoga and mediation spots. Some fish to represent a pond” and Plumbella went “let’s do mulch and a literal bonfire 😂

This is a good concept! Can’t wait to see how it turns out! Could this potentially work between games e.g. Into The Future from Sims 3, but you have to match the vibe of the pack in Sims 4. Could be rather horrific and mildly impossible though depending on the pack though haha🤣🤣🤣
Good question! Sims 3 that might be harder to do since each World was typically much more distinctive but at the same time there's still some overlap especially if you owned any of the Sims 3 store worlds or sets.
@@DoveJS Yeah that’s what I thought. I also think having to a do a Into the Future style in the Sims 4 would be rather difficult due to the lack of more ‘futuristic’ items. I suppose there’s Baatu buuuut it’s quite meh overall so dunno how effective that would be🤣🤣🤣
@@azurecrusade8510 I actually missed the part where you said to take the Sims 3 pack into the Sims 4! That would be easier in many respects lol. Still a fun idea! I'm definitely curious to see how it'd work for some of them. Into the Future should be possible with Get to Work and maybe Get Famous. Plus Discover University with the Servos. It'd be next to impossible in Sims 3 though unless you had uhhh whichever one was Lunar Lake.

Idea for a build challenge: the most uncomfortable house possible. Aesthetically/physically uncomfortable yes, but also just the most awkward layout and strange placement of items.

I have an idea, idk if its been done before but
Each "furnishing type" is a different pack.
So rather than room by room, its done furnishing type by furnishing type.
I.e. All the wall paint/wallpaper etc. is done first, for the whole house, with one pack
then all the carpet/flooring etc. with a different pack
then all the seating/comfort
then all the tables/counters/surfaces
then all the appliances/plumbing
then all the entertainment
then the wall decor
then the interior decor/clutter
then the plantlife/foliage/landscaping
These categories arent rigid, but the challenge comes from not only designing "every room at once" in a way, but also from how each room has to be designed without knowing what else will go into it later. Might be fun!

My cat mika loves watching you, she suffers from seizures often sometime everyday, the only thing that relaxes her after a seizure is watching your videos, she sits and purrs so loud. Even on her good days I put you on she hears you say hi guys and comes running, even some days she meows and taps the iPad wanting to watch you she won’t stop meowing until I put you on. Sounds sad but it’s the one thing that make me genuinely happy ❤

What I did as a challenge before was to number all the packs/kits (building) then use a random number generator to select 5 numbers , I could only use those 5 packs in building a house . It was pretty challenging but fun .
The ones I ended up with were
