"His legs gotta be getting tired though.." It's so funny to see people trying to still defend their pick when they're getting dominated. like "Yeah he's lighting him up but his knuckles are probably hurtin real bad right about now" Just talkin shit though! I do enjoy the videos.
I wouldn’t say that’s very accurate in this case, I was rooting for Aljo and am happy he’s the champ but holding a triangle that long for 2 rounds definitely tired his legs out. It showed in the 4th and 5th. But aljo showed that his championship heart was just better that Yans. Yan was too cocky coming into this for sure.
Thanks for posting this, I wanted to score the fight myself and you can't really do that from highlight videos. I didn't think Aljo would be able to beat Yan but he clearly did. Don't know what the h*ll Dana was talking about. Aljo clearly won R1,R2,R3. R4 was close and Yan won R5 but not by much. Aljo definitely won that, not even close. Wasn't exciting like say Gaethje- Chandler, but still a hard fought win.
@@RUARI-mi1yt maybe clean power shots landing I can see that , but I mean they weren’t even clean shots, mostly in accurate power shots compared to mostly accurate volume shots, it comes down to that
Yan controlled the center and was more accurate doing round 1. Easily won rounds 4 and 5. People forget that scoring isn’t based solely off total strikes and takedowns lol. Aljo didn’t do anything on the feet and ran the whole time. He got back control twice and landed a few good shots. So he won? Like am I wrong? Did aljo do anything besides control the back and land some heavy shots during one of those moments? Can anyone tell me one other moment he was dominant?
Yan pressured round 1 but barely threw strikes while aljo threw and hit him more. You can walk forward all you want but you can still get outstruck by someone walking backwards
Round 1 isn't hard to score, Sterling out struck Yan 19-13 and also wobbled him momentarily with an elbow. People just don't to admit that Sterling beat Yan fair and square because they dislike him as a person. I think Yan should fight Merab next, it would make for a great buildup for the trilogy if he manages to beat Merab because he's Aljo's friend and teammate.
Aljo actually got into Yan's head

but yeah there was definitely bias, “Aljo’s fuckin done man he gave it all he had in the second.
I was gonna say finally a aljo fan lmao
Same yo lmao
I think also deserved it he controlled more of the fight and I think he win the first
The guy that bet 9k bet on aljo and won 45k
You're right he got the number confused with a previous bet that was shown on the screen
I thought yan won that. Either way aljo is not a dominate champion he will lose his belt to tj or yan in a trilogy
Yan definitely lost
@@markusmahadeo1374 3-2 Yan
@@markusmahadeo1374 no way
All yan did was sit on aljo last 2 rounds he’s now 0-2 to the champ but aljo is gonnna get knocked out by tj
@@shadowwolf2713 all Sterling did was hug Yan.

Aljo getting surgery on his neck helped
Think this fight should have been a draw! Yan 1,3,and 5. Aljo 2 and 3, but round 2 was 10-8 for Aljo, so ...
Aljo won’t the first
Yan just didn’t do enough in the first to get that round imo, volume over power
Yan lost dude. At best for him its a draw
