This was mostly for bears back then, but nowadays I'm sure it would alert you (and especially your dog) to human interlopers as well. And speaking of the here and now, I've seen those little high decibel alarms online that are activated when the trigger (a straight piece of metal with a loop on one end) is pulled out - and they are LOUD! Would most probably scare off whatever or whomever tripped the alarm. I've even heard of some people using solar flood lights that are motion activated as a means of portable security. Though, I'm not sure a light coming on would wake me up from a sound sleep. But then again, it would probably alert your dog and therefore, you. Well, these are just a few suggestions to make a trip into the outdoors a bit safer. (I recently saw a portable solar electric fence on Amazon, for use in bear country, but I'm not sure I'd want to pack a battery around everywhere I go.....?!) Oh, and where are you camping in this video? Looks interesting..

I camped at a camp site with people who hosted over us. Pitched my tent.. it was windy. The next morning I woke up with a gold peg in the ground. Someone wanted me to know they were so close they could have hurt me. I turned it in to the couple who hosted. Very disappointing.. freaky
She didn't want you to setup by laying on the tent. Some of those ques shouldve had ya thinking. But hey hindsight 20/20. But youll know next (hopefully not) time.
Most interesting camping video all the other ones don’t pull you in like this one did. The way your dog was acting set the stage. Glad you were both ok
I always listen to my cat. She’s part dog I think 😂 Told me there was a prowler in the garden around our house. She successfully scared them off from inside the glass. Ready to rip them a new one. I heard them run away when I turned the outdoor lights on.
G'day mate. Same shit happened to me about a year ago. Woke up twice to the sound of clear footsteps. First time, around 2am. Listened, then called out and the noise stopped. Fell back asleep. 2nd time at 3.10am. Same deal. Clear footsteps. Dog growling. Heart racing. Called out. And then nothing. But all my instincts said something was wrong. So, took a huge deep breath, grabbed my dive knife and torch and ran out my tent as quick as I could. As soon as I did, I saw two people (a man and a woman) standing about two meters from my tent. No torches. No hello. Luckily for me they ran away when I came out and I'm glad they did. Cos I wasnt expecting to find two strangers there and was kind of frozen. I've thought about it since and it freaks me out to think, they were in or around my tent for over an hour before I saw them. And doing what? Cos, I don't camp at popular places. This was remote. Anyways. I didn't camp solo again for 6 months. All I'm saying is, be careful mate. Pays to be prepared and little paranoid. All the best.
Hey Sam! Dude, that’s a hell of a sight to see at 3am in the morning when you bust out your tent! No good intentions, glad you were alright! Don’t blame you for not solo camping for a while after!!
Hello from a new subscriber 👋🏻🏴 Which part of the world are you in 🧐Stay safe and trust that lovely dog Yeti to warn you of any impending danger 🥰
You need a black string round the camp at ankle height with bells on and then one at 60cm height. These are very hard to see on the dark even with a torch. You need a green light torch and it’s better to throw a flare in the direction of the noise than turning on your light source highlighting your location.
Nothing like a dig to keep you safe...alwrting and defensive barks, warming blanket on a freezing night to finding the way home when some how you get very disoriented, even the compass fails Man's best friend, womans too . Always keep your dog close…to alert you and to protect your dog. It’s also a good idea to setup a perimeter at a minimum of 20 yards.
Dog does look thin, but she also looks like she has had pups recently . She's a good dog , there was someone or something out there , always trust a dogs instinct .
11 pups to be exact! She was in a very bad way when I found her.
First time watching your channel. Loved it. Great video.
Thank you Cookie, much appreciated! Glad you enjoyed the video 👍
Stay safe! 🫵😎👍
I camped at a camp site with people who hosted over us. Pitched my tent.. it was windy. The next morning I woke up with a gold peg in the ground. Someone wanted me to know they were so close they could have hurt me. I turned it in to the couple who hosted. Very disappointing.. freaky
Your Pupper saved your life!! [maybe]. Also; Stalkers can have "Night Vision Goggles.
Very true!
That’s why I always carry a concealed carry but also I carry a thermal scope and fishing line for traps.
The whole video the dog doesnt want to play as she's too busy paying attention to their surroundings. Good girl
That dog see things we can't see 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈
100% Susan 👍
I agree , they can smell another human from a long way away .
What an amazing g dog! 🐕 ❤
100% Kellie 👍
She didn't want you to setup by laying on the tent. Some of those ques shouldve had ya thinking. But hey hindsight 20/20. But youll know next (hopefully not) time.
really scary video I'm glad no one hurt you or your dog, what was he after?
I dread to think 😶
I couldn't rest where my dog was uncomfortable. I'd find somewhere else.
trust your dog then your gut always
💯
Had something similar happen to me, scary as heck
Stay safe Brother.
Will do, you too man 👍
Thanks for these great videos....
Thank you for watching, glad you’re enjoying them!
Night vision and trip alarms.
Most interesting camping video all the other ones don’t pull you in like this one did. The way your dog was acting set the stage. Glad you were both ok
Much appreciated man 👍
I always listen to my cat. She’s part dog I think 😂 Told me there was a prowler in the garden around our house. She successfully scared them off from inside the glass. Ready to rip them a new one. I heard them run away when I turned the outdoor lights on.
That’s one cool cat! Personally I wouldn’t want to get into with a cat, the sheer speed, sharpness of nails and teeth, that’s a losing battle! 😂
First and last time you don't listen to Yedi's higher senses!!
100% Brian 👍
Terrifying! There’s no nice explanation for that is there? They were up to no good.
Hey Sam! Dude, that’s a hell of a sight to see at 3am in the morning when you bust out your tent! No good intentions, glad you were alright! Don’t blame you for not solo camping for a while after!!
I have to say you should def listen to Yeti. I think everyone else is right make sure the woods you go into is not owned.
Glad you two are ok, I sure hope it was just a fluke that someone stumbled upon your camp but something tells me you were being stalked.
Always trust your dog, when in the woods. My little dog barked and tugged on the leash to get me out of the woods. I listened. We have bears!!
Very smart animals, fortunately they are on our side 👍
Brilliant mate
Always appreciated Lenord, thanks for watching sir 🤝
Hello from a new subscriber 👋🏻🏴 Which part of the world are you in 🧐Stay safe and trust that lovely dog Yeti to warn you of any impending danger 🥰
My bad I’m sorry I didn’t hear her barking and growling. Yeah you need to listen to her from now on.
Will absolutely be listening to her from now on 👍
Trust your little girl .😊
Trust the dog.
100% Cetok 👍
Your dog senses something is wrong.
100% Michael 👍
You need a black string round the camp at ankle height with bells on and then one at 60cm height. These are very hard to see on the dark even with a torch. You need a green light torch and it’s better to throw a flare in the direction of the noise than turning on your light source highlighting your location.
Great suggestions 👍
Nothing like a dig to keep you safe...alwrting and defensive barks, warming blanket on a freezing night to finding the way home when some how you get very disoriented, even the compass fails Man's best friend, womans too .
Yep like a wild animal, some nights we just dont get much sleep...we are the prey ( in a sense) for an unknown predator.
Thanks for sharing, you di a great job
Dog is lovely.❤
She is 🤝
Hey man, nice video again 👍🏼
Much appreciated my friend, thanks for watching 🤝
Looks a lot like Australian bush land?? Love your dog. She’s just a bit spooked.
Very similar and yes, she is awesome 👍
south Africa?@@ManDogWild
If not Australia then where are u filming from?
That's South Africa for sure
I would have left the area at her first show of aversion to a possible unknown entity. I certainly wouldn't have stayed around for all the clues that followed.
Great dog!

100% Bruce 👍
That dog was almost continually letting you know that you needed to get out of there and you weren't listening.
All my best to ya from Ohio!!
First time viewer…..1:05 so your canine alarm system was silently going off right away. 😇🛡️✊☦️
Hey HalfB, appreciate your comment! Much love to you and yours in Ohio 👍
trust your dog if she growls that is a serious problem
the great thing about a mini pin is they are small enough to even carry in your arms , they are very aggressive when it comes to home security , you can buy one with no papers for about $300-$400 dollars which is cheap for one of these guy's for the bang you get, yup they are worth their weight in gold !
She's ready to get out of there 🤔🤔🤔
When she came running up and sat down in front of me, that was more or less plain English “Let’s go!”
01:08 When he asked the dog are they going? You can see the dog shook its head no
Always trust an animals instincts. I know if someone is going to knock on my door because my Cat hears people coming long before I do.
Totally agree Simon 👍
Always trust your best friend
