      I couldn’t stand that Pat McAfee interview. I saw it trending on Twitter and several comments that said, “So refreshing to see the human side of Vince.”
      That interview was nothing but McAfee blowing McMahon and Vince doing his schtick where he pretends to be humble, but low key brags about himself.
      “What time do you go work out Vince?”
      “Around 1 or 2 in the morning.”
      RAW doesn’t even go off the air until 11 Eastern. So if he’s in Florida, he’s gotta fly back to Connecticut. If he starts his day at 1 AM, he literally never sleeps.
      But Vince is full of bullshit stories like that. In an A&E documentary, he claims that when he was 14, he enjoyed spending his weekends going to the bar in North Carolina and beating the shit out of 20 year marines fresh out of boot camp.
      From everything I gather, Vince McMahon is a tough guy and a workaholic. But he goes overboard and starts making up fantasy stories. Which is funny considering he claims that he hates pats on the back.

    • @KliqDon1983

      @@StuUngar exactly the macaffe interview was an ass kiss the whole time. All part and parcel to promote WrestleMania and jerk off Vince's ego. Vince is macaffes boss FFS.
      I agree with the BS Vince stories as well. They always talk about how he grew up in a trailer park poor with nothing meanwhile his father ran the largest wrestling territory in the country. Those promoters were raking in millions back in the sixties and seventies and he's trying to tell everybody that he grew up in a shack I don't buy it

    • @StuUngar
      @StuUngar 2 года назад +1

      @Sick of your White guilt Im well aware of that. They say he sleeps around 3-4 hours a night. According to Vince’s story, he’s sleeping none at all, which is physiologically impossible.
      An example of Vince exaggerating his stories.

    Watching these series of interviews with Bob Costas jarred my memory. I really loved his off screen role as a radio baseball play by play broadcaster in the 1984 movie “The Natural”. Even though the film was set in the 1930’s Bob contributed so much to a pivotal point in the movie. The lead character Roy Hobbs of the New York Knights (played by Robert Redford) was in a slump at the plate. As Hobbs came up to bat against the Chicago Cubs in Wrigley Field you can hear Bob Costas setting the scene. The combination of seeing Hobbs break his slump by slamming a home run off a stadium clock (and breaking it!) along with Bob’s energy and enthusiasm in describing the mammoth clout was huge. It helped me reaffirm why I’m a baseball fan even though I live in a major Canadian city where hockey dominates.

The best line you delivered in that interview was “Vince you have no wrestling skills, you are a human punching bag when you get in the ring” This man completely turned a wrestling show into a sex expose, filled with filthy language, and vulgar story lines. Instead of seeing the premise in a positive way as Vince saying he'd beat him up if he was bigger, as a benevolent admission by Vince that he would never hurt Bob, instead of seeing that premise positively, Bob sees it as what he claimed (of course it's silly, because it wasn't the premise) and it's a further degradation of Vince's character. It wasn't just so Vince could look big and strong and rationalize hurting anyone, as if he was never challenged before and was that immature, that's a blatant invalidating blanket statement, if that was true he couldn't run his business, it was him saying he'd never hurt Bob
