I don't think enough people are realizing the key reason why this year's band is playing with such balance: the marching euphonium's volume has been tempered and properly balanced within the envelope of sound! The result: clarity. You can still hear the euphoniums, but they're contributing with their pleasant TIMBRE...their characteristic tone quality. All voices of this band are clear and balanced. SATBB. Every voice. Take notes from the FAMU band directors. Balance is key.
