This is by far my favorite song to play on uke from this album. It’s tricky but super rewarding when you get it. Good luck to everyone learning!! Here’s the link for that contest: distrokid.com/hyperfollow/tonyberk/ice-cream
One of my favorite album finale songs of all time, definitely my favorite Twentyonepilots album finale so far, thank you for making this tutorial, yours are always the ones I struggle the least following
thank you so much for your tutorial! i've had my uke since 2017 because of the pilots and the new album encouraged me to pick it up and start playing again. can't wait to see more tutorials from you!
Just saw the Clancy Tour and I’ve had Paladin Strait in my head ever since. I just started playing uke, and I thought it was crazy to look up a tutorial on a song like this, but you made it so easy to follow. Love how you broke down the song. Thank you! 🤘
I just bought a ukulele because of this song. I wanted to play it so much it’s so beautiful. Thank you for your video I’ll need lots of practice but playing a song you love is great motivation for it. I’ll come back to this video a lot. God bless!
Thank you so much for this! I would consider myself a beginner but your tutorial actually tells me everything I need to know so that even I can play the song, I really appreciate that! If you ever feel like making more Clancy tutorials in the future, I would be very interested in a Oldies station tutorial. :)
I love it, i dont speak Englsih but i understood what u say, but, i don have practice yet XD, i hope in a futura play ukulele like u I hope i write correctly
I think your plucking is technically incorrect. The song uses a baritone ukulele with on-beat notes going from the chord's tonic to its fifth, with the third in the syncopated plucks, where as on normal Ukulele tuning you end up going from the third to the tonic with the fifth in the plucks, which removes some of the colour from the second half. The order the two top strings are plucked gets swapped after the first chord too as well as being alternated differently in the chorus and in the verse after the Dm there's short run of notes leading into the F.

This helped me pick my uke back up after barely using it for the last 5 years. Thank you

Is it possible that he plugs those 2 strings seperately and not together?
That's certainly how it's done. Use one finger per string.
Is this high g or low g?

he literally said that Tyler uses a baritone but he altered to make it better for the most common ukuleles
