How’s the transmission? Got a brand new 2024 and going from a stop - it shifts all the way to 4th gear by the time I get to 30 mph and not in the smoothest way.
all late model cars set multiple codes when one code sets. designed to force the owners to take the vehicle to the dealer. just unplug the air flow sensor. see what happens.
I own a 2023 Honda pilot transport, had electrical issues on four different occasions. Received all of the error messages that this video talked about in the opening. The dealer does not know what to do and I have gone to Honda Canada and requested a new vehicle. The car has been horrible, I do not recommend purchasing this vehicle. Thanks
Bought a 2023 Pilot Trailsport, the Auto Idle Stop drove me nuts! Can be hazardous entering a busy street and tons more wear and tear on the battery and starter. I resolved it by installing the Idle Stopper. Also, the trailer wiring harness was not included with the tow bar! 😡. I installed it myself without removing the bumper and wheel trims as the instruction suggested. Other than that its fabulous! 😁
@@elyhenu8449 Turning the vehicle off when you come to a stop is exactly what the idle stop is designed to do. You can manually press the override button on the center console every time you start the vehicle. Honda will not do anything to resolve it. It took some time for me to install the Idle Stopper as I was concerned about warranty breach. The Idle Stopper simply electronically depresses the auto idle off button. It doesn’t get into the vehicle’s programming. The installation was fairly simple as they have a video that walks you through it. Although, I did not fully remove the first panel, just enough to do whats needed. Secondly it was tough to remove the last cover, they show it easily coming off with a screwdriver. I also, used my fingers to help depress the locking clips. Now, Im much happier although those were issues I should have never had to deal with from the start.
What a waste of 4 minutes. You're talking about electrical issues then reference the CX 90 which has had some major electrical issues. You also act like sticking with a traditional gasoline engine is a bad thing. Keep your electric crap and I'll stick to my gas and diesel.
There are people out there in the world that wish they can afford to buy a car just to move sick family members for proper health care and here you are complaining about a reliable family car.

This is one of the most rediculous videos I've seen. 1! Just 1 reported exploding sunroof. Give me a break. Honda holding onto a 6 cylinder with no turbos and hybrid tech. that's expensive to maintain is a winning formula! Trying breaking down in a small town with hybrid tech. Long tow to dealer. Only mentioned 1 case of electrical issues. That happens in many cars. The Honda pilot is a car that is more reliable than many cars out there with many many stories of longevity compared to many other brands. This video should be taken down...
No the electrical issues are happening in our new pilot elite. It shut off all safety features and has been doing it on and off the past 2 weeks. 2000 miles on our car. The passenger vent trim is also falling off. I like the car but being a Honda, so far it’s been surprisingly annoying

Having “no hybrid/EV” is not a con. I rather have this Pilot with a naturally aspirated V6 . No EV /hybrid nonsense

My 2021 pilot black edition brand new from the dealer is a lemon. It’s given me so many issues. I want to trade it in for something different

My black edition pilot has turned off on me 4 times and I blame on the stupid idle stop . Taking in to the dealer ship today to get it looked at.
