no 1 minute intros, no distracting music, no stupid product ads, no fast forward or incosistent cuts. just a footage how to cut the hair and the beard from an apprentice's perspective.... l love the video.
Impressive. What a kind gentleman to show how it’s done and at no cost to the viewers. Experience, great skills and humility - a great combo and video.
It’s nice to watch a pro at work. Without an explanation, the process would seem “easy” to the average joe. Then with the commentary, the pro makes it clear that there’s a layer of complexity the average person just doesn’t understand.
any suggestion in hair style cut for those wearing helmet as biker? i usually cut very short just to have hair nice and tidy when i take helmet off. Looking for advice. ty
Not bad.. I feel the beard could’ve used a little bit more tlc. He took too much weight off the chin area, which then led him to go too high with the line up. If you see at 33:04 - the skin we see under the beard hair should also be covered by beard. The removal of that gives off a double chin look even when the client is slim. This result is from going too high with their line. In fairness the overall haircut was good though
Men's Club Barbershop for me, if you’re a professional you should be assisting in letting your client know it’s too high. If that’s what he wanted then I get that, but the beard lines were not straight, the edges at the back of the neck we’re not crisp, and his overall look wasn’t much of a change for how long the whole process took. But hey just my opinion 🤷🏻♂️
I'm watching this video so I can trim my husband's beard and give him a haircut. And yes, I am a professional, but there's always new and better ways of doing things.
What is the length of his beard? My beard must be 1/2 inch or shorter When I trim using my 1/2 inch guard going with the grain, its not even cutting the hairs. I pulled out a stray hair and it measured 1 inch long. What do they mean by beard length?
Holy crap... I start freakin out around 7 minutes into my cuts for lack of patience just sitting there. I'd be hyperventilating after this one doing the chicken on the floor! Great job though 😉
NM Beatz- no steadfast rules - go with what you like and what you think looks good for you. Your hair is yours to set however you like - it should not be about rules or "guidelines."
Neckline is not actually high, the goatee is just disproportionately short. Should grow it out a bit to have a more natural curve and not that front truncated jawline angle
It's not exactly too high. It's more like the barber came at the line from weird angles, so the contour is way off. For this guy's beard, in my opinion, he should definitely be putting the initial line in from the front (the position from which Mahesh does his beard trims), then go back and refine it from all of the weird angles he did in the video. I used to put my neck line in like this, with my chin pointed towards the ceiling, and it makes for an oddly shaped neck line that tends to grow out like shit (as evidenced by the big chunk of hair hanging way out of shape off of the bottom of the right side of side of the beard before the trim begins).
Also, if you notice, the barber himself also has a really poorly placed neckline. Based on that alone I would have definitely steered clear of this guy.
okay this is a good instructional video...good explanation and technique...however....years ago i went to this shop and my hair was cut by another barber [forget the name] as a walk-in and it was the most terrible job [quite possibly THE WORST; yes THE WORST ever for me] haircut. Sideburns up to my temple [it's true and not exaggerated] and three [3] different lengths on top...[THE WORST]....my wife didn't believe me when i told her at work until she saw for herself [haha]. I had to go to another barbershop in the area [now closed] to have a very very close redo and fix with whatever was left on my head. I would never go back ever again to this shop; however this is a good instructional video, a good haircut and beard trim for this client and a good overall video presentation by the owner. TY
well fortunately i have a few good barbers now to which i am very "loyal" but as i said in my earlier comment this is a very good instructional video....almost like a quality barber school review or required course instruction.

Beautiful classic haircut.
Gonna try... I just have bad experience in Miami to find a good barber
I’m super jealous of this guys thick hair
It’s nice to watch a pro at work. Without an explanation, the process would seem “easy” to the average joe. Then with the commentary, the pro makes it clear that there’s a layer of complexity the average person just doesn’t understand.
Awesome video.
Let's watch more videos like this different barbershop and barbers too.
Salute and much success!!!

Most guys in those vids have perfect dark beards.. me having a patchy red one can't get any near to that precision.

Could you show what to do with curly /arab hair? It's so think and curly and I don't know what to do with it.
Can you do a video on how you store and set up your tools? How do ypu get by eith cordless with State Board? Just curious.

Great cut. Would love to have a stylist like this chap to go to. But I'm suffering in a small town in the middle of nowhere. Jeeeez!
Muy útil, un gran maestro, gracias
What brand of clippers is the barber using?
I believe it's the andis master clipper
Andis masters
Sharp cut !!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Elegant 👍💈
Mike looks good!
Any tips on kepping those T-outliners from overheating? My Andis outliners get so hot it becomes almost to uncomfortable to finish.
Oil. And cool care spray. Also, a second pair would help. Your timing will get better with experience
U are terrific

Guy has a powerful neck
It’s just me or the neckline is too high? No hate, but It looks like jaw-shaped beard.
It's two fingers above the Adams apple.. it should be fine.
