Just some advice for your patron, the redness underneath his beard and behind his neck is most likely caused by folliculitis. The condition can be easily treated with antibiotics. Neosporin can help relieve this condition and reverse it to a good healthy skin, but I recommend some warm to hot water treatment with towels to drain the area and applying either antibiotics or folliculitis conditioner. I had this really bad and now my skin is very smooth, almost like i never had this condition.

H Simms The barber did an excellent job explaining what he was doing and how to achieve the desired cut. Excellent job! We need more tutorials with this barber.
A detail that most are missing is that at the time of the cut it needs to be a little tight and too well lined up. That’s because ultimately even a week’s growth after the cut will start to change the sharp lines into a more natural and rugged look. This allows the look to “grow in” imo
You can get much closer to your genetic potential with minoxidil + tretinoin + microneedling (weekly at 1 to 1.5mm) + oral castor oil (1 to 5ml daily). Stay on that regimen for a year or two until your hair terminalizes, then slowly ween off of minoxidil and only keep the more sustainable parts of the protocol (for me it's microneedling and oral castor oil). The great thing with *beard hair growth* is that even if you stop this regimen, you'll get to keep pretty much any hair gained that terminalized and the longer you pursue the protocol, the more hair follicles will get to reach that point of no return.
