Jews need it to be touch to be healed. But we, pagans, believed in the word of Jesus to be healed.

But surely you know that to believe is not enough. If it was then Our Lord when asked directly " What must i do to be saved ", responds by saying " Keep my commandments...".We MUST love Our Lord and have our sins forgiven in order to enter in to Heaven, all agree with this. Now does any1 deny that Mt 10:22, " (it's he who endures to the end who will be saved), " and Mt 24:13, ( He who perseveres to the end will be saved). Some might say that these people were never truly saved in the first place, but how can this be when we read in Gal 5:4 about those who believed, just like Jews today, if they keep the mosaic laws they will be justified, but Paul tells them they have fallen from grace. And in Heb 6:4-6, & Jas 5:19-20 & 2Pet 2:20, We see Christians who have been ENLIGHTENED, HAVE COME TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST ONLY TO WANDER FROM THE TRUTH, WHICH LEADS TO DEATH ".
Since the 1st Century, we have the writings of the Church fathers-Those taught by the Apostles and they explain clearly that we have been forgiven our sins by the crucifying of our Lord, and as we have free will we can accept or reject this free gift.If we accept what our Lord specifically says, simply keep the commandments. And those who believe we will enter Heaven with hatred in our hearts are hard - hearted and modern day pharisees. When we refuse to forgive some 1, any1, then our sins are not forgiven-Mt 6:15 - " but if you do not forgive men their trespasses neither will your Father forgive your trespasses ". WE ABSOLUTELY MUST LOVE- LOVE IS ABOVE ALL ELSE FOR THOSE OF US LUCKY ENOUGH TO RECEIVE THE GIFT OF FAITH, HOPE AND CHARITY, THE THEOLOGICAL VIRTUES AS AN INFUSION OF GRACE, RATHER THAN RECEIVING THIS GRACE BY MAYBE STUDYING AND COMING TO THE SAME CONCLUSIONS, BUT WHO DO NOT PRACTICE LOVE OF GOD AND NEIGHBOUR WILL BE PUT OUT OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND THE MAN WHO DOES NOT KNOW FAITH, BUT ALL HE DOES IS FOR LOVE OF HIS NEIGHBOUR HAS THE BEST CHANCE OF ENTERING THE KINGDOM. LOVE TRUMPS FAITH AND HOPE. Only a couple of centuries ago martin luther began this " proof text ", which is used by many today, wereas for 2000 years now the Church has looked at the Bible as one book and has never needed to proof text, as we gave the world the Bible, whole 73 books. What ppl need to ask themselves is do they place there faith in a man who wanted to remove many books of the NT, and who actually DID ADD A WORD TO THE NT, { WE ARE SAVED BY FAITH ALONE }, Which was changed back when his peers demanded that he has gone too far. So this is a man who wanted to deceive and change the Word of God in order to fit his own personal beliefs. Or do you place your Faith in the Church who gave us the Doctrines of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit and the NT as you have it today. The books luther wanted removed did not fit his new-found beliefs so he removed them saying he did this as they were books that the early Church actually did not all agree on. He rejected Hebrews, James, Jude and Revelation.- It might appear at first that luther was merely trying to be historically accurate in rejecting these books, since 3 of the 4 were not universally accepted early on in the Church, until the Bishop of Rome spoke. However it is clear that luther denied the inspiration of these books for theological, and not historical, reasons. Sure, the early doubts about these books made his claims more palatable. But in truth, these books contained teachings that directly contradicted HIS NEW IDEA THAT HE WAS PROPOSING-LIKE SOLA FIDE & AND SOLA SCRIPTURA. IF HE HAD REJECTED THEM FOR THE HISTORICAL REASONS HE CLAIMED HE WOULD ALSO HAVE REJECTED 2 PETER AND 2 & 3 JOHN, WHICH WHICH WERE ALSO NOT UNIVERSALLY ATTESTED TO IN THE 1st CENTURIES OF THE CHURCH. But he didnt reject those as he found nothing in them that dis-agreed with his opinions. His solution was to override historical concerns altogether and appeal to no authority but his own personal discernment. So for those of us who belief in the Doctrines the infant Church was GIVEN, OBVIOUSLY BY THE HOLY SPIRIT, as they in no way come from scripture, but from the guidance of the Holy Spirit as was promised, even if you may belief the Church went astray afterward ( AS IT COULD NOT HAVE WENT ASTRAY B4, OR WE WOULD NOT HAVE RECIEVED THE DOCTRINES ON THE HOLY SPIRIT, ON THE TRINITY, AND ON THE CANON OF SCRIPTURE AND OTHERS THAT ALL CHRISTIANS BELIEVE IN ). MANY PROTESTANTS SEE THE PROBLEM WITH THIS AND DO USE A BIBLE WITH ALL 73 BOOKS AS IT MAKES NO SENCE TO ACCEPT EVERYTHING GIVEN TO US INTHE COUNCIL, ONLY TO TURN AROUND AND SIN AGAINST THE HOLY SPIRIT BY BELIEFING 99% OF THE KNOWLEDGE HE GAVE US BUT REJECT 1% ON THE WORDS OF 1 MAN--- IF PROTESTANTISM IS TRUE, THEN THERE IS NO REASON WHY SOMEONE TODAY COULD NOT REMOVE ANY NUMBER OF BOOKS FROM THE NT AND DECLARE THAT HE HAS COME UP WITH THE TRUE BIBLE, MADE UP OF WHATEVER BOOKS COINCIDE WITH HIS BELIEFS. AFTER ALL THE FATHER OF PROTESTANT REFORMATION DID JUST THAT TO A 1500 YEAR OLD CANON

I don't find where Salomon exorcised demons and heal people.

Oh yeah this is very well known. Just like Christianity "lives threw", scripture and tradition, examples are the table of contents, Holy Spirit, The Son been con-substantial with the Father, The Holy Spirit proceeding from the Father and Son and SO MANY, MANY MORE. Well Judaism even more so, survived by the passing down of traditions-Many were no good and burdensome but most were vital, like what you mentioned about Solomon, and how the children from the time they could talk, instead of going to school they were taught every single day, the great stories we find in the OT, all of them going all the way back-But most important, was each family passed on their genealogy to the children so by time they were 8 they knew there genealogy of top of their head. Isn't it amazing. You should check out Scott Hahn's book, " The Jewish root's of the Eucharist ", and some other books on the Jewish faith cause it gives Christianity, but specially Catholicism an awful lot of credence, shown us how Judaism is the big brother of Catholicism, even finding the Jewish roots ( Typology as used by St.Paul ) of the sacraments. God Bless
