This is incorrect. There were others outside the garden. It is where Cain got his wife from, and others from Adam and Eve like Lamech. This is what it is talking about.

I agree 7 is the number of covenants and not perfection which is 10. But one thing bugs as an engineer who needs a balanced equation. Jeff Cavins’ BTL course teaches 6 covenants is salvation history- covenants with Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David and the New Covenant in Jesus Christ. Scott Hahn Also states this in his book A Father Who Keeps His Promises. My question is “if 7 is the number of the covenant, why do many scholars say there are only 6 covenants in salvation history?” I dug further on this and found where John Bergsma says there is a Prophetic Covenant where a salvation covenant is granted to His firstborn son, Israel, as prophecied by Isaiah and others, then you have the New Covenant in Jesus for all - Jews and Gentiles, making for 7. But I don’t see where this prophetic covenant is actually cut with promises and curses, etc. Seems like it’s the same thing as the New Covenant just extended out to 2 peoples - Jews and Gentiles. I’ve also read about the eternal covenant which is the heavenly kingdom in Revelation and that the Marriage supper of the Lamb shows some classic signs of a covenant - exchange of oaths as we become the Bride of Christ, the covenant meal, etc. What are your views on the question of the number of salvation history covenants? Am I just too consumed with my concern about there should be 7 covenants in salvation history if 7 is the number of the covenant. Thanks for any thoughts. Love your channel!

There is an order of things... Each creation is a container for the next creation. example: what happens when you put water in outer space? It would just boil and totally disappear... you need an atmosphere to "contain" it... so it is with all things... including your body and soul... the soul has to have a body to contain it... it's called being “human”... no body no human... but you are not the body... the body seeks after worldly things….you are of the spirit... your spirit seeks spiritual things… we have to learn spiritual things... we learn spiritual things through our (bodily) senses... we gain knowledge... with knowledge and the spirit we gain wisdom... God created this world this way so “we” can understand! This understanding leads back to His existence and believing in Him… yes? Chew on this for a while… What was the last thing God created? Woman... the pinnacle of creation! And the Woman was chosen to be the container of the Son of God! Mary the perfect container better known as the “Ark of the Covenant” !

Love the way you teach, because I would pose the same questions to my Sunday School, we build our own towers or ways to get into Heaven.

Christ came and built his Church. God is not one of confusion. He instituted a ministry with authority. People hate that and want to bend God to our own understanding, worshipping him how WE see fit; believing what "I" think is right. Lots of rebels under Moses too.... And yet the Church still stands. So much corruption and sabotage within it and yet supernaturally there it is (the gates of hades will not prevail against it-why would Christ say that? Why would his prayer in Gethsemane be that we all be united as one? Why would he say unless we est his flesh and not stop disciples from leaving when he said it?) Our Protestants brothers and sisters are united in 1. their profession of faith in Christ and 2. their opposition to the universal catholic Church. God works all things for good. All the knowledge in the world is of no use, if we dont have charity in our hearts.

Excerpt from The Unseen Realm regarding the Sethite view: This interpretation of Genesis 6:1-4 is the one most commonly taught in Christian churches, evangelical or otherwise. It has been the dominant Christian position since the late fourth century ad. In this approach, the sons of God in Genesis 6:1-4 are merely human beings, men from the line of Seth, Adam and Eve’s son who was born after Cain murdered Abel (Gen 4:25-26; 5:3-4). Presumably, these four verses describe forbidden intermarriage between the godly men of Seth’s lineage (“sons of God”) and the ungodly women of Cain’s line (“daughters of humankind”). In this reading, everyone who lived on earth ultimately came from these two lines, both of them lines descended from Adam and Eve’s children. In this way, the Bible distinguished the godly from the ungodly. Part of the rationale for this view comes from Genesis 4:26, where, depending on the translation, we read that either Seth or humankind “began to call on the name of the Lord” (niv). The line of Seth was to remain pure and separate from evil lineage. The marriages of Genesis 6:1-4 erased this separation and incurred the wrath of God in the flood. Exposing the deficiencies of the Sethite view isn’t difficult. The position is deeply flawed. First, Genesis 4:26 never says the only people who “called on the name of the Lord” were men from Seth’s lineage. That idea is imposed on the text. Second, as we’ll see in the next chapter, the view fails miserably in explaining the Nephilim. Third, the text never calls the women in the episode “daughters of Cain.” Rather, they are “daughters of humankind.” There is no actual link in the text to Cain. This means that the Sethite view of the text is supported by something not present in the text, which is the very antithesis of exegesis. Fourth, there is no command in the text regarding marriages or any prohibition against marrying certain persons. There are no “Jews and Gentiles” at this time. Fifth, nothing in Genesis 6:1-4 or anywhere else in the Bible identifies people who come from Seth’s lineage with the descriptive phrase “sons of God.” That connection is purely an assumption through which the story is filtered by those who hold the Sethite view. A close reading of Genesis 6:1-4 makes it clear that a contrast is being created between two classes of individuals, one human and the other divine. When speaking of how humanity was multiplying on earth (v. 1), the text mentions only daughters (“daughters were born to them”). The point is not literally that every birth in the history of the earth after Cain and Abel resulted in a girl. Rather, the writer is setting up a contrast of two groups. The first group is human and female (the “daughters of humankind”). Verse 2 introduces the other group for the contrast: the sons of God. That group is not human, but divine. There are more deficiencies in this viewpoint than I will take time here to expose, but the point is evident. The Sethite hypothesis collapses under the weight of its own incoherence. Your leading people to Hell with your false doctrinal information here. There are tooooo many verses that clearly state, that we cannot lose our salvation once we are saved, but people like you, will find every Bible verse you can twist and present differently, rather than the many verses that are clear and truly stating, that we cannot lose our salvation.
