@Tom-Tom Tom This song was on The Crow soundtrack. Brandon Lee, Bruce Lee's son, died towards the end of the movie. Supposedly there was a bullet fragment in one of the prop guns and it killed him.

The DeLeo's sure have a knack for chord structures. This acoustic version reveals the well thought out chord progression that previously was masked by the electric version. I say BRAVO!

Ty guys for this, I've listened to STP since I was a child because everytime my brother took showers he'd put his STP cd on the radio full volume meanwhile I was sitting in a couch. Nowadays I even play some songs of STP in my guitar. R.I.P Scott

Sadness, a little bit. Scott had a beautiful voice, an incredible talent in showmanship, he was the last big front man of rock and roll.
Happiness, a lot actually. Those were great times, great music, larger than life personalities, music meant something, as it does now but it was different, that spirit, that feeling, it haven't been the same since those days.
Gratefulness. We're still here, we lived it, we keep on fighting, living, loving, smiling, crying. We're still alive. And we miss you Scott. And we miss Layne, Shannon, Chris, Kurt and oh so many beautiful humans who left this earth before their time. We miss you all.

Huge STP fan -- must've listened to the electric version of this a thousand times.
Only thing this acoustic version could use is something to assist in the build-up of the bridge. In the original version you have the guitar slide solo to help with the tension buildup. Probably could've used some slide guitar on the accoustic in this one to help with the buildup and payoff after the bridge.
