I’d spent October in NYC for my internship, so it’s almost like watching a vlog of my own time there, daily walks in Central Park, running around the reservoir, watching dogs!!! halloween decorations put up everywhere. Basically my October except going upstate haha! The video truly brought me back, thx 🤍
My late hubby and I really loved visiting New York in the fall, especially so for the gorgeous leaves! Also, the weather was drier, mostly, and a lot less tourists seemed to be around...... thanks for the stroll down memory lane!
Great video! My husband and I are going there next month for our first time! Also, our first East Coast trip together. Was the weather cold? We are from Cali so our blood is different 😊
Thank you! That’s so exciting! I love the East Coast. It was not that cold in October last year, but I only have one year of experience. I’d say bring transitional clothes as it can be colder in the mornings but quite warm in the afternoons. I hope you have a wonderful trip!
It’s transitional so depending on the day it can be pretty cold or a bit warmer - not ever really hot though and definitely not as cold as the winter. Jacket weather usually.

Fall through NYE is by far the busiest tourism season for NYC.
I went to Tarrytown and SleepyHollow on the same train line, it was so cute and almost empty (it was on a weekday, not on the weekend) !
Yeah I bet going during the week would help a lot! Also going during the fall is probably the worst time for the crowds 😂
