7:35 James Woo started learning magic when he saw Scott Lang doing card tricks in "AM&TW". Remember when we first saw Woo in this show? He pulled his business card out of thin air.
We're all waiting to find out what happened to White Vision. I wish the creators had been able to finish all the pieces they wanted to include without having to rewrite so much because of the pandemic.
I'll be reacting to all Marvel shows but I'm guessing that one won't make it onto my schedule until sometime later next year (unless it somehow ties with with another movie or show that I would be watching sooner). I just hope I can avoid spoilers for it because I don't know anything about it other than the name of the show and that it's about her (obviously, lol).
It came out 3 years later so I’d assume you’ll have quite a bit of material to work through to get to it. I think there’s only one movie that you need to watch before the series because it’s really only tied to Wanda’s story, so if your Patreon member shuffles your schedule, maybe you’ll get to it sooner. I’ve just finished episode 7 and it has been a wild ride.
Unfortunately this finale episode was affected by the beginning of Covid. Darcy was supposed to have a bigger role, for example, but Kat Dennings was stuck in New York so they had to close out her part of the story with "have fun in prison" and "something about debriefs being for the weak". The commercial breaks were apparently going to be revealed to be a magic user trying to make contact with Wanda in her dissociative state, hence all the reminders of her life from before Westview: beep beep stark toaster, Strucker watch, hydra soak, Lagos for when you make a mess you didn't mean to, Nexus antidepressant (because reality doesn't revolve around you, or does it?), etc. I'm not sure what else would have been different, but I imagine the scramble to modify the story to accommodate the new filming and travel rules probably contributed to this feeling like a slightly weak finale to an otherwise spectacular show.
@@Matizek2002 That's true. Or at least near the end of the season. If memory serves me right, I believe he was supposed to appear in the pharmaceutical commercial?
Your whole journey was so fun to watch. Maybe even my favorite WandaVison reactions to date. So now I really can't wait to see your journey through the whole of the MCU. I know you watched most of it by now, but I still hope we also get to see that on RUclips some time. Until then I'll keep enjoying your Shield reactions (and Doctor Who of course)
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you've enjoyed it! I do plan to bring the movies to my second channel ( @britanybingesmovies ). I'm not sure if I'll be putting any more of the MCU TV show reactions here on RUclips just yet since I'll be switching my YT focus to movies soon, but maybe one day if I get to the point where I can hire an editor to help me get more videos out. :)
@@BritanyBinges totally understandable. As long as Shield and Doctor Who continues on here (which I'm very hopeful about). I already subscribed to your second channel a while back. Can't wait till we get some content there
@@donaldduck1860 Doctor Who reactions will definitely continue. They get enough views each time to justify the time and effort it takes to edit the videos. :) Agents of SHIELD, however, might be in question. Basically, if a new video gets at least 1,000 views within the first week, it's performing well enough for me to continue. AOS used to easily meet that metric, but it has been falling under that number for a while now. 😕 The plan is to release through the end of season two and then reevaluate in case the past couple of months have been a weird algorithm thing that the show bounces back from. *fingers crossed* Thanks for the subscribing to the second channel! I had planned to start releasing reactions over there in August but my husband just accepted a job offer last weekend that means we have to move half-way across the country by the end of August. Between getting a new place set-up, moving all out stuff, getting our current place ready to sell, spending time with friends and family before leaving, and all the other things that come along with a big move, I'm just not going to have the time to edit anything extra. Maybe in September, though! :)
@@BritanyBinges I feared something like that, because I also saw the decline in views in the Agents of Shield videos. I totally get that your time is valuable, so I really hope you are right and it is just some weird algorithm thing. Just in case, please give us fans a warning way in advance so we can try to mobilise the fanbase and get the views up. Congratulations on the job for your husband. That is the same Darkhold in AoS. It looks different from the one in the show, but AoS explains pretty early on in season 4 that the book shows up differently for different people.
The darkhold in the show Agents of Shield wrote itself in the language of the reader while they were reading it to show them something specifically for them to see. This one is completely different. You cannot say it is the same
I think it's a pretty big stretch to say that. But who knows, people including Feige want to make certain things canon whether they fit neatly or not. Comics have the same issue. But Shakman said that he doesn't know how the Darkhold worked in Agents of Shield and was just going off their comic origin. So since it wasn't explored here with any reference or knowledge of Agents of Shield stuff, saying it's the same is really just hopeful thinking on their part.
@@MattPerk7It is the same. You didn’t understand that the book appears in the language of whoever reads it, not that it writes itself. One of the producers of this show confirmed it was the same Darkhold

On YT, I'll be starting the movies on my second channel hopefully in September (but, it might need to be October since we're in the middle of moving to a different state and will be doing so through most of August). I don't have plans to bring other MCU shows to YT anytime soon since I'll be shifting my focus more toward movies. On Patreon, I've already released full reactions for the first season of Loki and we're currently making our way through the first season of What If...?. After that, I'll be starting Daredevil if I remember correctly.
Just out of curiosity, is there a reason why you only do one episode per video? Basically, all of these Marvel Disney Plus shows are broken up into three parts, even though they're released In 6 or 9 episodes. For example, WandaVision episodes 1 through 3 were act 1, episode 4 through 6 were act 2, and episodes 7 through 9 were act 3. Loki has six episodes so episodes 1 and 2 are act 1, episode 3 and 4 are act 2, and episodes 5 and 6 are act 3. If you react to them in acts instead of individual episodes, you will be less likely to get burnt out in between movies. Just a suggestion.
The simple answer is time. I record reactions for five different TV shows and one movie each week on Patreon (sometimes more). YT/Patreon is also not my main source of income. I run a whole other business full-time. So, I don't really have the room in my schedule to unnecessarily record multiple episodes for one video. Also, recording shows in chunks that like that would cause me to get burnt-out if I did it every single week or cause me to take long enough breaks between recording each chunk that I would forget a lot of the smaller details/events and the reactions wouldn't be as good/enjoyable.
so not liking the sitcom/episodic kinda shows....... yet you like supernatural which is 1/4 episodic lol though i guess considering how many episodes there are... now it we exclude all the repeat story lines which made that show a tedious chore to finish thats a whole different story
Well, 1/4 of 327 episodes still leaves A LOT of non-episodic ones to enjoy. That's a little different than a show with only nine episodes. Also, the first season is my least favorite because of that exact reason. I almost gave up on the show after the first few episodes but they gave me enough mystery with the search for their father that I stuck around. And, some fan favorite episodes are ones I skip on a rewatch because they're more episodic.
That's your opinion. No Way Home, Guardians 3, Loki, Moonknight, and most recently Deadpool and Wolverine were all excellent. And the announced movies for the next 3 years all look good.
