These ladies are so genius. 3 yards - 1 yard of each fabric. Mind blown. And they look fantastic in so many different fabric combinations! You guys are amazing!
Thank you @PreQuilt ! You guys have created an amazing tool for quilters that EVERYONE should take advantage of. If anyone needs additional help using PreQuilt with 3-yard quilt patterns, check out their tutorial videos on their channel 🥰
Oh, how I love you girls! So inspiring, so joyful, so much fun. I'm 71 and have macular regeneration in both eyes so the sight is voing. I was sure I would have to give up my love of quilting. However, with the larger blocks in 3 yard quilts I can still see them well enough to continue with the hobby I love! Thank you Donna and Fran and all of your hard working staff for helping all of us find the .motivation to keep going.
I love you two ladies! You are always rays of sunshine. I found your booth at market, 2019, and went immediately to have shop owner come to your booth. Thank you for sharing all your ideas.
Have made a number of 3-yard quilts, and have a number ready to be cut and sewn. But what I really enjoy with these quilts is knowing that anywhere I go for yardage I just need 3 one yards and 3 yard backing. It’s just a matter of deciding which pattern I already have at home to use for that design combination. Thanks ladies for these lovely patterns!❤️
All the fabrics look stunning in these patterns!!! I wouldn’t know which one to choose as a favorite- at least 4 caught my attention!!!! Great job revamping the patterns with new fabrics!!!
Oh, my goodness! These are gorgeous!!! I’m in the process of finishing a crocheted blanket before I start my quilting journey. I want to make a quilt for each of my grandkids when they graduate high school (the oldest is only 10, so I have some time!), so in anticipation of this, I recently bought 6 of your books! Make it Patriotic Pretty Darn Quick Quilts on the Double The Magic of 3-Yard Quilts Easy Peasy Quilts for Kids I have a ton of fabric that needs to be used up, so I can’t wait to get started!
I really like the landslide pattern! I have some large bird print fabric that needs to be seen properly, and that pattern would be perfect. Thank you for the inspiration!
Desert Oasis is my favorite fabrics! Crossroads pattern is one of my go to! Getting ready to make one for family that took us in on our vacation. None of us had met. They were wonderful people. They are my daughter in law’s aunt and uncle.
You two are such a hoot! And what a fun remake. I’d love to see you continue to do remakes with your other earlier books. The change is colors, textures and themes are inspirational jumping off points. For example, when I saw what you did with the Crossroads pattern, my mind jumped to some fat quarters and small pieces with the National Parks them which will be a perfect prayer quilt for a guy!
I loved how clean and fresh Flutter looked in those subtle prints. It made me wonder about doing monochrome 3 yard quilts with shades of a color. Fun idea!
Beautiful fabrics. I have made most of the quilts in this book. I love how easy it is to match fabrics with patterns. Just 3 yards and I am ready to go.
This was the very first book I bought from your series! The fabric choices make such a difference. I didn't care for the pattern Wandering Way in the book, but seeing it in the fabric you picked in this video I do like it. The opposite happened with Flutter. I liked it in the book, but not with these current fabrics at all. You are so smart to go back to a book and show us new combos. It might change our opinion of the pattern.
I'm loving your 3 yards quilts....but what about a few table runners. I change out the table runners out every week and by season. I'm not talking spring, summer, fall and winter but birthday week, snowy week, Valentine's day, St. Patrick's day, mothers day, father's day, memorial day, 4th of July, hot days of summer, and so on. Do you have any patterns for table rummers? I'm working on your Yuletide pattern from your new Christmas book and moving onto your Irish Christmas pattern. Thank you for your videos.
Oh ladies, there's no way to choose which pattern and fabric I like best. They're all stunning. Can we purchase extra fabric for the binding (I prefer 2 1/2 in binding), and I also like to make pillow cases/shams to match the quilts I make. Thank you for this updated version of your book "Quilt in a Jiffy."
Really good to see these again in new fabrics. Love the fabrics in Oh My Stars! and Landslide. Oh and Ashford Square! QUESTION: when you design, do you start with a big picture idea first, as in, the end result in your head, OR a block by block or semi block as the mental image? Just curious 😁😁
We usually start with a “theme” in mind. I approach designing as play time. I start playing with block ideas and let the design bloom into something pleasing to me. Then I start checking math and making adjustments to assure it works with 3 yards. Donna
I find your videos wonderful yet I must ask do you sale yardage of your fabrics so I can be creative on my own. There fantastic prints, solids etc. please tell me where to buy fabrics like you
I have this book and never noticed the Landslide pattern. On my list of quilts to do now! Question about the PreQuilt discount, is that applicable for Canadian subscriptions as well?
I would really like to nake queen size quilts! King queen is too big. I can use the leftover fabric to make coordinating, pillows, but I need the correct instructions to keep the size more queen size.
I was so saddened to see you are moving into the “membership arena” as well. I am put off greatly by all these RUclipsrs that are not satisfied with subscribers but now want paid members as well and they get different/better content. I would think one would be considered a member if they purchase your books and/or your fabric kits or watch weekly release. This is one subscriber that is very disappointed with your choice to go in this new direction of paid memberships.
Hi Tammy! Thank you so much for your feedback. It is very valuable to us as we continue to try new things at Fabric Café. We want to assure everyone that we will continue to make books, patterns and videos like normal that everyone will get to enjoy. 🥰 The membership is just offering more live streams and behind the scenes for those that would like to see that sort of thing, but our Tuesday and Thursday videos will never change. But thank you for taking the time to let us know your thoughts. We will definitely take them into consideration as we continue to make Fabric Café better.
I watched the entire Prequilt demo video and was impressed, but on the subscription page I found misspellings and grammar errors : "you are make a quilt" and "recatangle". I stopped reading at that point. It struck me as the kind of awkwardly translated instructions that come with products made in China. Proofreading should have caught the errors and that carelessness makes me reluctant to give the company access to my credit card information. I'll pass.
We have had nothing but good interactions and experiences with the good folks at PreQuilt. They are a small business made up of a husband and wife team that does it all. 🥰

You can do it!
Yes, I would like to see this showcase video for all your books. I'm definitely going to order this book.

I have to say that every single one of these fabric collection choices y’all made are absolutely beautiful in these quilts!
Thanks so much 😊
I love landslide, I’ve made two, one a lap quilt and one king size! And they’re both beautiful!

You are so welcome, Karen. Thank you for sharing 🥰
The enthusiasm is contagious!
🥰🥰🥰
Button box. So beautiful. That fabric is gorgeous.
It really is!
Love this idea of remaking the quilts in new fabrics. Eufloria has to be my favorite ❤️
You can give PreQuilt a try to preview the quilt with all sorts of different fabrics!
I am often surprised by the 3 different fabrics. I love your kits. I could never pull these colors together. Well done!
All the fabrics look stunning in these patterns!!! I wouldn’t know which one to choose as a favorite- at least 4 caught my attention!!!!
Great job revamping the patterns with new fabrics!!!
Hello Donna and Fran, another great redo on quilts. I love all of the fabric choices and patterns. Looking forward to the next video.
Thank you!

I loved the book review and I hope you will plan to do more of them! I loved all of the quilts.
More to come!
Wonderful that you have collaborated!
I have made the ashford square and it was sooo simple and turned out gorgeous!
I did the button box in reds and creams. It was beautiful!
Wow you ladies really put together some beautiful fabric combinations! It's hard to pick a favorite, but the first 3 are gorgeous. ❤
I really like the landslide pattern! I have some large bird print fabric that needs to be seen properly, and that pattern would be perfect.

Beautiful fabrics, beautiful quilts. Thank you for the video 😊
Desert Oasis is my favorite fabrics! Crossroads pattern is one of my go to! Getting ready to make one for family that took us in on our vacation. None of us had met. They were wonderful people. They are my daughter in law’s aunt and uncle.
The Button Box is wonderful. Reminds me of a countertop we made that looked like the bottom of the sea. So unusual
Love all the beautiful fabrics you choose. They really go with designs. I can't choose which one I like more. 3 Yd. Quilts are so inspiring.
I totally agree!
Love, love, love the Eufloria fabric

I also love them all. I usually do! Great job, as always.
Love these ideas!
Thanks for watching Nonna!
I have this book, so took pics of your new colorways. Sew many options! Thanks!
After Donna pointed out the "bow" shape in Big Blooms, it would be interesting to swap fabrics #1 & #2 to see a completely different focus.
The colors of whisper floral are gorgeous. Wish you were closer, I’d be in your shop every week. Can you expand to Maine please? LOL!
Love Donna's hair so much
I loved how clean and fresh Flutter looked in those subtle prints. It made me wonder about doing monochrome 3 yard quilts with shades of a color. Fun idea!

Another great show and I LOVE your new background!

Grandonna! Did you catch that? What a sweet moniker!
Thanks! So many years ago, my first grandson called me that! It stuck!
