If you feel a little down, just watch Mandy & Steven, they will give you a pick me up. I almost fell off the chair laughing. What a great family they make.
A couple that cooks together stays together! It incorporates team work, planning and preparing, and definitely communication. This results in laughter, affection and pride in a job well done! Get your husbands in the kitchen with you, ladies! Make it fun and enjoyable. So many women “don’t want anyone in their kitchen!” but you’re missing out…just look at Steven and Mandy 😊
It is so refreshing to see a husband still ADORE his wife after many years together! Keep it going! Love watching you both and your recipes. God Bless and Merry Christmas!
❤😊Thanks for sharing these great recipes as for which ones I am planning to make maybe the non bake double pumpkin 🎃 cheesecake first the the other 2 maybe later.
You two are such an absolute joy to watch. Steven, thank you for loving Mandy so richly. You are a rare one, brother. Love the victory walk!!! Merry Christmas 🎄🕊️😇
Yes! Originally made in So. California by a Dutch family, Van de Kamp's Bakeries. Not sure they invented them, but they perfected them. They had sliced almonds on top and were wonderful. Ralphs here (Kroger) used to carry them, but you're right that Archway still makes them and Walmart is the only place that carries them at a not too horrific price.
I can't stop laughing at Steven whipping the cream cheese and him saying he isn't afraid of too much cream cheese. I think you changed his mind on cream cheese, Mandy.
I❤ y'all! You make my day!! 😊 🤚🤚 I diffently know what your talking about Windmill cookies,my Grandma always had them in her cookie jar they were and are the best😊. I'm diffently trying these recipes. Here's a truffle recipe for you to try instead of oreo's try nutter butters and cream cheese dip in chocolate. 😋😋 Thanks for sharing this recipes. ❤Nancy
🖐🖐I definitely know what you are talking about. Windmill cookies are awesome! I just love you guys. If this 73yr old woman is having a bad day, I just go on utube and find Mandy in the Msking. I go to your Playlist and just start watching. If anyone ever walks in on me sitting by myself laughing my fool head off they will come for me with the straight jackets. Y'sll will have to save me!!! Don't ever change the way you are cause I need you for my sanity!! God Bless

Mandy, you have a Great husband! That you can laugh together is precious! Laughter is what most marriages are missing. I wish you both a blessed lifetime together 🙏❣️
I remember windmill cookies. I was never a fan of anything like molasses cookies or ginger snaps but my grandmother always had all 3 in her house. You guys are so fun together. Steven always makes me laugh with his antics LOL I love people who are so down to earth like you guys are and you don't shy away from mentioning God or church. That's refreshing. It's like believing in God is taboo these days UGH As a former Bible school teacher and Sunday school this makes me sad that people are afraid to express their beliefs these days
I remember windmill cookies! I haven't had them in years. You made me think of my Granny today with the gingersnaps. She would buy them. They didn't hold a candle to her homemade molasses cookies, but nothing could! She was a wonderful woman and I miss her. Thank you for helping me remember her today!
That’s the pumpkin pie I have made for over 30 years now and my family loves it! When making it try to get the bigger pie crusts if available, and just don’t put all of either layer in the crust because it makes way more than needed 🤣 one thing you can do is buy some of the individual pie crusts as well and make a few of those with the leftover layers 😁
I just made the no bake pumpkin cheesecake and had no issues with fitting all 3 layers with the lid. Led me to think that I must have picked up a larger graham cracker crust than what she had.
Mandy, I live in a condo building. I wonder if folks hear me LAUGHING OUT LOUD over you and Steven?!!!😂😂😂. Seriously you two are two peas in a pod! I just love y’all so much. Thank you for all the wonderful recipes but most of all, for all the laughs and warm fuzzies that make life sweeter. That’s the BEST RECIPE you ever could share ❤️🙏🏻❤️
I can’t wait to make the pumpkin cheesecake!!! Mandy I make a peppermint dip that I dip ginger snap cookies in. It’s so good and easy to make! Peppermint Dip 1 container cool whip Crushed candy canes or peppermint candies. I put the candies in a big ziplock bag and pound them with a mallet until finely crushed. Stir into cool whip and put in frig for at least 30 minutes. Then dip into with the ginger snaps. It’s sooo good!!
My Memaw and Pepaw always had windmill cookies. So yes, I can relate. My dad loves Stauffers Ginger Snaps, and I've made them homemade too. Believe it or not, that recipe has Cheyenne pepper in it! So yummy.
Mandy, between you and Amber from Feeding the Byrds, I have laughed so much this week watching you all in the kitchen creating your Christmas treats. The love shows in your videos and I so enjoy watching. Take care and Merry Christmas.
There was an older couple that lived up the street from us when I was a child. When their granddaughters came to visit, they always had windmill cookies for us! Haven't had them in YEARS!
Loved windmill cookies. I forgot about those until you asked about them. You both are my favorite couple to watch. It’s so refreshing to see a husband who truly loves and appreciates his wife. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
I really enjoyed your videos today you both are so funny and when things don't work right you just keep going you don't unedit it like others would. You make it fun and we can all laugh with you. Lots of laughs today. Your family have a wonderful Christmas and a blessed new year. God bless you all, ❤❤❤
Yep archway windmill cookies. Steven I grew up in Ashland Ohio and that's where archway cookies were made.! You could always tell when they was making the cookies cuz The whole Town smelled good.! ❤
I'm gonna try all of these..(gotta have treats always accessible to eat!) Thank you, and Steven is such a great addition to your videos😂 he's just so naturally funny!
Hello Mandy and your Husband 😂, you hubby make me laugh, when he say where did I go.👍⭐️🩷🧡❤️💙💜🌈🌺⭐️🙏🏻. God Bless you all from Edith in cairns Queensland Australia 🇦🇺
Mandy, you saved my Christmas! I made all 3 of these plus 2 more easy treats, and just like that, Christmas magic. I just want you to know how much I adore you and your family. I watch you all the time and when I want a new recipe I go to your page and find something! My mother-in-law has been in the hospital over the last 2 weeks, even went to the ICU, AND PRAISE GOD, MADE IT OUT! On Christmas Eve, my husband kissed me goodbye in the morning and told me to stay home and relax and he would go sit with momma all day, so I decided to make Christmas magic! And you helped, so thank you for what you do! I truly appreciate you and adore your family. 2 things I wanna let you know, yes, I ALWAYS take my glasses off to eat, too! And, the one thing I loved to snack on once I open it is those fried onions that go in and on top of greenbean casserole!! I wanna wish you and yours a happy new year and I look forward to following you through 2025! Love ya girl! Keep up the great work and putting smiles on faces all across the world! May the Lord continue to rain blesses down on your family! Love, Heather ❤️ ps: LOVE the Mexican Alfrado Recipe! Major hit in our house!
I remember the windmill cookies. 😊 We just had our annual baking day on Saturday. My husband’s favorite Oreo Truffle is made with lemon Oreos, they are so good. I saw someone on YT make a double boiler with their Instant Pot so I wanted to share it because it was SO helpful while dipping all of the candies this weekend. Put a few inches of water in your IP, turn it on Sauté. Place a glass bowl or metal bowl over the IP so that it is above the water line. When the bottom of the bowl gets warm put your chocolate in the bowl and switch the IP to Keep Warm. Stir your chocolate until it is fully melted. Just keep your IP on warm and your chocolate will stay the perfect temp for dipping. Have a blessed week y’all!
When my husband was on deployment his #1 request for a treat was windmill cookies! Today would have been our 37th anniversary so thank you for the memory ❤❤❤❤

Mandy, I make peanut butter, coconut and heath toffee crumbles Truffles. There very delicious too. I have a suggestion for melting the coating. Set a bowl with the melting coating over a pot of gently boiling water. Works better and you always have the melting coating warm as you dip your Truffles ❤. Just my opinion and how I do it 💕🙏🙏
My Christmas candy recipe: 2 pounds of confectioner's sugar; 1 stick of softened butter; 1 14 ounce can of sweetened condensed milk. Mix all together. The dough is very thick, so it's best to mix with hands. Once mixed, separate into portions according to how much of one flavor you want and then add the flavorings to taste. After flavorings are mixed into portions, refrigerate for an hour or so. To make the process faster, the candy centers can be paced in the freezer until firm. While centers are cooling, melt 2 12 oz. packages of semi sweet chips with 2 or 3 tablespoons of coconut oil. Once centers are set, dip into the chocolate and place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. ENJOY! Side note: if desired, dried fruit can be chopped and added to centers. I always make some with coconut. I also use McCormick's flavorings.
raising my hand . . . . YES I remember windmill cookies !!! Wonder if they are still available?? I'm for sure trying the layered pumpkin pie this weekend!
🤚yes, I absolutely remember those. My grandma always had a jar full as well. I can remember my granddad and great uncle sitting at their kitchen table drinking coffee and eating Windmill cookies every afternoon. Great memory!
I make key lime pie truffles.. same process but I use the golden Oreos, key lime juice, cream cheese and lime zest to make the filling , you can also substitute key limes for reg limes if you can’t find key limes

What are the ingredients for no bake punkin cheesecake please
My mixer is 50 years old. Is Harvest green, & WORKS LIKE A CHAMP!! Oldies are always good!! 👌
I had my Sunbeam Mixmaster for 35+ years then one day it burned out. That was the best mixer and I haven't found a comparable replacement.
Still got my mom's Sunbeam from the '70's. Stiil works great! Don't make 'em like they used to.
