This is one of the best Videos on this Topic. I like this get in and get it done attitude rather than telling the worlds longest story about it and not being clear on work getting done. Thanks bro!
Going back to my Focus... hopefully ill be able to drop my Transmission by this evening.

my car shudders from 1st to 2nd gear only.
i just remove actuator A and spray alot of wd40 lithium grease in there. It fixes the problem for like a month or so then it shakes again. Especially after road trips then i hav to spray it again...
Can i just keep doing this long term? been doing it for almost a year. its a great car otherwise

I probably would have sprayed brake cleaner in there.

@@marioo6315 brake cleaner will make it stop shuddering but it will eventually dissolve the grease in there and you'll fuck the forks up completely

@@marioo6315 there's the tiniest ball bearings in the forks push screw thingys. I took one of these apart at a junkyard. You don't wana fuck them up they look weak as hell like i could snap it with my bear hands

Idk but I'm going based off the videos this guy did. I suppose after you clean it, the wd40 is oiling it back? I read one comment that his is still going strong after this procedure from 7 months ago.

@@marioo6315 honestly if the shuddering isn't too bad I'd say just leave it alone. I haven't done anything to my car in 3 months. Of course the shudders are back but I just live with it. This isn't a slushbox to expect super smooth driving. Spray lithium grease in both actuator holes with every oil change and you'll be good. Again there's tiny ball bearings in there break cleanr will dissolve their grease and fuck them up. Wd40 is a degreaser so that's bad for it too.
Spray lithium grease in there. Sure it'll attract clutch dust and start shuddering and when the shudders gets bad just spray fresh grease in there and you'll be good. I've had my car for a year. Done several road trips put several thousands miles es on it not one problem. I'll comment back here again in couple of years if i still have it.
At this point its just my back up car i don't care what happens to it. I'm just driving it cos it has good tires so im gonna keep driving till it dies.

Hi Nick did you have to re program and relearn the clutch system ? Do you have a video of that procedure ? I hear these cars are good but get a lot of hate for this trans setup

Yes you do! Some scanners will work. Mine works on some cars and not on others. I have a snap on triton d10. Hope that help!
