  • Solar power has been the most reliable source of security lighting for us for over 2 years now.
    From how it looks, that is not going to change anytime soon.
    Recently, I did a power application to be connected to the national grid, but I was met with a disproportionate quote of KES 2.7 Million (About $21K).
    With such unreasonable pricing, our choice remains obvious: SOLAR OFFGRID SOLUTIONS.

      @TheWanjalaz  Месяц назад

      It's easy @alearn2714! You only need to know what size of areas you need to light up in the night, how much brightness you need and what your pocket can afford. Get in touch for details.

      @amoskasera7642 Can you imagine that!!! We were so pissed off....Right now we're going to go fully off-grid until the last mile program is rolled out in our area.

      Hi Evans. Great hearing from you. Yes the lights stay on till sunrise. We normally use them at 70% brightness level as seen on the video. The Brand is Vellmax.

    Hi wanjala which of the solar motion lights would you recommend??
    What are their costs??

      @TheWanjalaz  Месяц назад +1

      Hi @makenziedeniss754! Vellmax has been a reliable brand so far, especially the 200W ones. The 100W has some manufacturer defects. I replaced two. Costs range between KES 4500-17,000 depending on wattage.

    6.51 is too early ,can it be set at 7.00.

      It depends on the sensitivity of the sensor. They come programmed to detect sunset/loss of sunlight. As soon as they stop charging they light up.
