Kaneda’s mortal attack is the norm now for Rikiya clones. Man why did they have to reuse Shibusawa? It’s supposed to be Karate, not Rush Kickboxing. There are movesets that are much better suited for Shirakaba: Iwami, for example, or even Masuzoe. However, I do have one good thing to say. Unlike Rush Shibusawa, Shirakaba’s fight feels…different, like you can’t use the same strategy on Rush Shibusawa on Shirakaba. _However no jumping side kick so -10/10._ Unique (Mostly) moveset critique Kyoya: I believe he is one of the most impressive sociopaths in Yakuza history. Moveset and the multi-qte is definitely fitting for a cheap scumbag like him (With that many knives you expect him to have a knife throwing move like Tamashiro). Using Ed’s unarmed moves and his backblow however…I’m not sure why, but it definitely seems fitting. Unique Moveset Critique: Kenmochi Lamp: I am so glad that he wasn’t reusing Ishin Kanai; I would've ripped my hair out if he did. Very basic moveset, but I vibe with it. Kenmochi unarmed: To me, it has the slowness of Ryuji, and the jankiness of Bruce Ebinuma. However, the moveset is definitely a cool one, as he has that one move where he has a PTSD attack so the continuity is a big plus. Conclusion: Kenmochi is best boi.
So happy I’m not the only one who noticed Fudo had Yagami’s stance, block, and moving animations. The hell happened there? Especially weird because he had his unique stance from the main game in the pre fight cutscene.

Here I am reading this 7 months later replaying this on the PC version realizing this is a thing after being half way done with a legend run only to realize I can't just bring it into a normal difficulty save where the AI lets me be more creative. :(
In terms of the “Tiger Drop” issue, for Kiryu, it kinda makes sense since he has the actual Tiger Drop currently, and the Iron Fist beforehand. So not having I-Frames for the Counter Hook, I get it. However, since Kaito is doing the exact same Counter Hook (aka Explosive Punch), I think he should have I-Frames, just to differentiate from Kiryu’s.
25:06 I noticed this too tbh, the new heat actions look a little weird. They kinda remind me of the deborah table quality animation heat action in Kiwami.
You truly are the edge of my seat of the lost judgment: the kaito files NGL, I loved the use of my meteor tackle and tank moves, it is fresh in the no damage community and I LOVED EVERY FIGHT ( how did they reuse Kanda, Daigo, Kanai, Richardson, Mine and others this much?) Still loved the DLC, I wanna see Kaito as a protagonist in Judgment 3
For the sake of notation, Kaito Files actually made autosave on LEGEND way more broken. Prior to the update, it worked like how you said, sending you back to your last save point (better than all the previous games which forced you to go back to the title screen, but...), but with the Kaito Files, while having autosave on, you are given the ability to reload at checkpoints whenever you die due to the general autosave. This, for some reason applies to LEGEND.
honestly, if they never make another judgement game, I’m hoping they continue to add dlc like this. if this is truly the last we’ll ever see of yagami and friends, then I want to play as higashi in a small kaito files-sized dlc.
32:18 A lot of the Dragon Engine reused movesets do shit like that where it's one guys stance but he uses other people's moves. This guy in particular rarely uses the actual Kanai hand chops, super annoying
The best part of my experience with Lost Judgment was my reaction to the final boss of the Kaito files. However the best part within that part was when I realized I had literally 0 healing items left, and hadn't saved before the literal "fake" final boss. I had to no-damage him to SURVIVE
hey Yakuza man, do you know of a way to transfer a 100% save file over to a friend for Y3 remastered on steam? I tried just giving a buddy of mine my old save file since Y3 is better on NG+ but it didn't work
