I wish Playable Saejima had his full moveset including the dragon tiger drop and that incredible durability. Majima is refined but he should've had the mad dog counter and the thug style to switch into. And the yakuza style needed the full speed combo. This game could've been better I don't know why RGG studios take away the major stuff that brought traditional beat em up brawlers to life.

Funny thing for all the blockuza haters out there. I set the game to 30FPS in my current replay and enemies block Wayyyyyy less like it is actually fun now so yeah if you guys struggle with yakuza 3 remastered try that. They still block alot but far less.

That “what games would work really good in a cinema” idea is really cool. My vote would be for Ghost Of Tsushima in Kurosawa mode or a remedy game like Alan Wake 2. (Btw if you haven’t played Alan Wake you def should since you’re a big David Lynch fan) Also Barry is the best “B” show of all time.

I hate to burst a potential bubble, but when you mentioned the GBA versions of Splinter Cell, I remembered that the OG Xbox/PS2/Gamecube versions of Double Agent are actually completely different games with different levels and stories. So if that adds a potential idea to your radar, I apologize for making more clutter (still would be cool tho)

The “How I Got Into Yakuza” is a great choice among some of the other series continuations. Those AI suggestions are frustrating, hilarious, and frightening all at the same time. Frustrating for how it’s going to sit there taunting us for the rest of time. Hilarious for how they sometimes really miss the mark (like the one that called Akiyama “Kiryu’s son” lmao) and sometimes kind of work. Frightening because it makes you wonder where they are taking the examples from.

I really like all of these resolutions I hope you find the time to do these

The Hard mode in God Hand keeps the adaptive difficulty at max no matter what, you unlock it after you beat the game once. Edit I just threw this comment out as soon as you brought up God Hand before even finishing the video like a child. But actual real comment: Favorite ideas ranked: #3. Yakuza Combat Retrospective, it would be super interesting from the perspective of a no damager even though I don't think a lot of my (a more casual player) experiences would align. #2. All Chapters Ranked, that is such a dumb idea I think it would work so well. Comparing what story beats occurred to what minigames became available it would be a gargantuan undertaking but lord would it be fun to watch. #1 Is a biased surprised, I really wanna see you talk about the Ryu ga Gotoku prequel short film, or all 3 live action Yakuza adaptations potentially. Whenever I think of the birth of this franchise and its roots in drama I always go back to it. It's just very interesting and I think you could do it justice.
