Considering that Hector had a pistol in his hand, Gustavo had some brass balls lunging at him like that.
That would explain why he also had the balls to walk toward a sniper who was firing at him. Gus simply gives zero fucks.
I think rage just took over reason.
It's a combination of shock and adrenaline. If you saw your best friend get shot in the head right next to you, you would probably do something without thinking as well because you are in complete shock.

We're now seeing how much Gus fucked with Hector in Better Call Saul

I dont know how some people dont get that they were boyfriends. The way he talks about gus and the devastating way gus cries, and how he waited for his revenge... It was the love of his life. Besides, hector jokes about it, kissing and saying they like what they see when he pees in the pool

Only death in the show not directly or indirectly caused by Walter.
Edit: the poor ATM guy is probably the only other example.
Not true..
JorToTheDan Name one other.
+Elias6233 Tuco Salamanca's bodyguard in season 1, he died when a car fell on him
+Filip Hoset right but if Walter never did business with tuco then gonzo would not have died, at least at that moment. This means Walter indirectly caused his death
That's an illogical argument, in that case, any human who has ever died ever, died at the hands of tens thousands of other people responsible for their death, by the "six degrees of separation" law. When a man dies in a car accident, you don't throw his wife in jail because she asked him if he can pick up some groceries.
Indirect killing is when you shoot a man, and the bullet ricochets and kills someone you did not intend to kill. Direct killing is simply shooting a man.

I really think that was his gay boyfriend. Probably why he took it so personal. I can't wait for this to unravel on Better Call Saul.
Right, the fact that Gus went to such crazy lengths for revenge, picking off everyone related to this family, shows how deeply he felt the loss of Max. Definitely reads romantic..
Dedicado a Max
Just because you care about someone doesn’t mean you’re sexually attracted. Isn’t it possible that it was a bromance.
@@pretzelstick320 where do you draw the line between "bromance" and romantic (not necessarily sexual) love? there's lots of grey areas.
sovietchampagne I don’t agree. If it’s not sexual, then it’s not romance. It’s friends. I think you can love people without being romantic, the same way you love a brother.
Hector is just terrifying in this scene. Comes across as somebody who truly enjoys killing, and waits patiently for the Don to let go of his chain and let him go to work, and revels in the moments when he gets to do his past time.
Gustavo... Cuando te miré a los ojos... Odio.
Esposito wtfk
Damn the guy who plays hector is so good at acting, I’m genuinely terrified of him.
Рдul ьlдгт He's not even Mexican either! He's an old jewish dude from Philly! Definitely an incredible actor.
@@jamesb1988 You realize he's not Mexican when you hear him speak Spanish. It's so bad.
@@Mr.Sax. Dude that jewish actor was in Scarface made back in the 80s. His Spanish was good enough then, whadafuk dude...
@@gmshadowtraders That movie is 37 years old, I don't remember how his Spanish was back then but when filming Breaking Bad his Spanish wasn't good for a character that's supposedly a native Spanish speaker. You're clearly not a native speaker if you think that's good enough.
@@jamesb1988 I dont think he fooled anyone about being Mexican, good actor though.
