Hi CeCe, I just want to give you a great tip about removing the excess paper after decoupaging. If you let the glue dry completely, then you can just take an emery board - like a nail file - or a sanding block and sand off the paper that's hanging over the edge of your piece. You just sand along the edges and the paper comes off perfectly. Also, have you ever tried the Iron - On method for decoupage? It's wonderful because you don't get any wrinkles in the paper! You paint 4 coats of Mod Podge, or whatever decoupage medium you use, onto the surface you want to decoupage and let the glue/❤medium dry completely overnight. Then you place your decoupage paper on the glue covered surface and put a sheet of baking parchment over the top and use a hot iron to iron over the 2 layers of paper until the glue melts again and the decoupage paper is glued down onto the surface. Then, if the surface you've covered with the decoupage paper is inside something, like a drawer or the inside base of a tray, you remove the excess paper with an exacto knife, or, if the surface is on the outside, like the front of a drawer or the top of a table, you sand the paper off.
