+1 for sharing that you get nervous. The most nervous if I've been my whole life was on stage at my first contest, I was a mess and couldn't land anything it seemed. It is conforming to know that even top talent gets nervous on stage.
Yeah, it's definitely scary up there. I think it comes down to knowing how to stay focused on stage because it's true, almost everyone gets nervous on stage.
I look forward to seeing you compete ^^, but it's nice to relax once in a while :D

hi i just wanted to tell you that you were actually what got me into yoyoing and i went to a small competition in oklahoma and i unfortionatly didnt win but it is ok and i wish i was as good as you so i guess your like a role model kind of and hopefully i can get as good as you and go to more competitions and one day meet 😁

Also yeah, unless you really feel like it, competing is a real hassle. Personally I don't like giving myself free pressure, I just keep it for when I have all my aces.

I been trying to find a super yo sonic spin. that was my go to yoyo back in late 90s and early 2000s. I quit with the yoyos at my peak I was extremely good and I only used looping yoyos and I done the string tricks the picture tricks looping ect... all with the super yo sonic spin. so far I haven't had any luck at all finding one to buy I just restarted yoyoing 2 weeks ago when I found my old yomega brain it's from 1989 it's red but works like new and I used it for about 3 days to get back into it. then I found my old yomega firestorm 1999 edition the old one it's black and gold but it's missing the plastic transaxle it once had so tomorrow morning well this morning around 10am eastern time I'm going to our local hobby store in Johnson city Tennessee to buy 2 yomega raiders to really start hitting it again. I do have a yomega pro mod pro speed that is the big C 10 ball ball bearing and it's pretty good for what it is. I ordered a few new bearings for it a got a ceramic bearing and a center track and a few high speed bearings and then I ordered different types of string I do like the cotton strings but I want to try out different strings with my new bearings to see how it really effects my sleep time for my pro speed. and to be honest I'm going for a couple of world records the first one is the sleeper I'm going to try to beat the world record of the 30mins. I am custom building a yoyo out of aluminum from work and once it's finished I'll make a video of it. my goal is over the 30 min mark and I have faith I can do it. as for the other records like looping I honestly would love to try to attempt to break the record with my all time favorite yoyo the super yo sonic spin the clear one with the blue bird or plane I can exactly remember what it is I'm pretty sure it was a plane. but I can not find one for sale to save my life. I gave so many yoyos away when I quit and now here I am 29 years old and getting my daughter she is 9 and my step son which 9 also and my wife into yoyoing which my wife is 26 and she used to yoyo with me back in the day and she was real good to I gave my 1989 model yomega brain to her to practice with and then I'll move her up to a fireball then to a raider then up to maybe if she can my yomega pro speed. and if she really likes it and loves doing it I'll buy her a expensive yoyo. I'm not real picky I love the old ball bearing yoyos they are my favorite and if you could point me into the right direction to find a super yo sonic spin the clear one with the blue plane that would be so helpful or if you happen to have one you could sale that would be amazing. that one yoyo started my whole hobby and it's the yoyo I got real good with and is my all time favorite even tho there is alot better ones out there I do honestly think if I mod it and get some speed bearings and replace the plastic bearings in it I think the super yo sonic spin can do amazing things which it already does stock it has a very very long sleep time already for.what it is but if I can just tweak it a little bit it would be in my sweet spot.. sorry for the long message I don't know where else to search for that yoyo or who else to ask. thank you for your time :)
Johnson City, huh? I'm in Memphis. We have ZERO places around here for yoyo stuff. Everything I have comes from Yotricks or Yoyoexpert. While I love the YT and YYE guys, I'd really love a store here in town, a skill toy kind of place would be awesome.
Michael Pate yeah lol Johnson city Tennessee is the closet place to me to get yoyos. it's called hobbytown usa it's on the Bristol hwy in jc. they carry yomega raiders I think all they have left in those are the blue and clear old look to them. then they have the yomega brain original blue and I think a green one then a yomega power brain xp I got the last green one lol they have a blue ones left. they also have the maverick black blue and orange. then they have the glide it's nice they had 4 of them last time I checked but it's 45.99 retails for 90.99 I got one them to today I love it. they also have the yomega ooch blue and orange ones and have prob 25 of them. then they have the pro mods the pro speeds gold red and black ones I got the last gold one. then they have the yomega fireball 2 blacks and a red one. and a yoyojam journey just one and it's blue looks cheap to me but it's only 15 bucks tho comes with the good neon green strings. and they have the metal duncan cant remember exactly the name of it I wanna say the dash maybe it's got a weight with it a skull a blue one and they have a few colors in it. then lastly the crappy plastic old duncan imperial in red lol.. they carry strings mostly duncan cotton multicolor which I got 5 packs of it for the red strings but it comes with blue green yellow white red and a purple. they are cotton tho and tend to get dirty and thin after a few days but they look good and are comfortable. they do have bearings as well mostly C bearings and raider size A bearings and spacers and they carry the raider ex for 12 bucks and it comes with A lot of spacers not bad for 12 bucks but I got the glow in the dark raider and put a red string on it and luckly my uncle my dads brother is into yoyos big time he runs around with ooch you remember the yomega professional spokesman that went to schools and all that. well he has a few custom bearings size A ceramics for the raider and I got 4 of them for 50 bucks and my raiders sleep for 2 mins now and sound pretty wild kinda like yoyofactory big ball bearing yoyo does. has that loud buzz to them which gets people's attention because iv yet to see a raider like mine except for oochs custom built raider and my uncle's. but yeah most def if your ever up this way we should make a RUclips vid I'm in. Bristol tn / va not a bad little town now Johnson city is a big place pics make it look little but it's a pretty big area iv been to Memphis when I was in the military I went to fort leanard wood outside of saint Louis and I flew into Memphis for 2 nights I loved it y'all got a nice little city going on the west side of the state. here where I'm at it's mountains everywhere it's beautiful nothing like it we get visitors from all over the world because of the country music place the Bristol motor speed way which is actually having a Xmas light show it's pretty cool I went done some tricks for the kids out there tonight and just got home I made a cool 259 bucks for people dropping money in my yoyo case lol I didn't open it for that it was for so I can change out yoyos but people was throwing money in it so I went with it lol plus the track paid me 100 bucks for 2 hours so I got paid pretty good just to yoyo for the kids and parents. my wife done it to and our son he is learning I got him a new power brain xp I got him the blue one and he is 9 years old and my wife is 26 and I'm 29 we had him pretty young and we got a 8 year old daughter and a 5 year old son and where we had them at a younger age it's kinda good because we get to play with them and teach them things like yoyoing and it's amazing bro it really is and my wife made a lil more then I did lol I guess cause she is a blonde haired blue eyed 120 pound little country girl in cowboy boots and nobody would expect her to be able to throw like that But honestly she land's tricks better then I do lol and here I am with a mixed style got 30mm gauged lobes a megalodon shark tooth necklace and cowboy boots big ol belt buckel with a beavis and butthead breaking the law shirt on and a fitted yomega black hat and everyone says I look exactly like vin deisle I got that all night people kept saying I could be his twin if I didn't have the stretch earlobes lol so I look more like the one that would be better with the yoyos lol But no my wife all tanned up and all 100% southern country woman landing better combos then I did lol she made about 13 more then I did even our son left with 47 dollars lol now he is hooked so hopefully brother man we all can bring the yoyo craz back because if we can get it started back up then more stores will carry them again.... oh yeah by the way one other store has yoyos up here it's called "bears in friends " Its also in Johnson city Tennessee brother.. sorry for the long comment man. if your ever up this way and wanna shoot a yoyo video hit me up I'm trying to get a sponsor or / and work for yomega I grew up with those yoyos and super-yo I used the long sleeping sonic Spin I had a few of them my fav one was the clear original with the chrome sides that said super yo sonic Spin and it has the blue aviator plane in the middle. they are heavy yoyos they weigh around 60 grams and shaped like a raider just thinner but solid and heavy they have a special one of a kind ball bearing system it's a size H basically odd ball size. plastic case with stainless steal balls it's strange from a ball bearing to be plastic with steal balls inside but the bearing is blue and white then they came out with the sonic Spin 2 the bearing in it is still plastic case but ceramic balls and it's solid blue and will spin for a long time. your talking 3 mins or longer and stock old school looper. if you run across one in a yard sale or eBay what ever brother man buy it trust me you will throw that yoyo more then the rest of them it has a very uniqu sound no other yoyo has. my wife has a giant collection of yoyos she had when me and her started messing around and dating in middle school threw high school she has a couple of sonic spins still in the boxs and she has about 400 yoyos easily all sealed never opened we got game room in our condo we have the yoyo collection on a shelf all the nice rare ones hanging on the walls she told me I could have one of her sonic spins but I don't wanna open it ya know lol
