This is my favourite rom hacks so far. So nostalgic with great diversity in encounters. Perfect for peoples first nuzlockes. I'm currently just doing a casual play through but want to do mono runs for each type as alot of pokemon have adjusted types
I want to add Johto elite fours and champion in Pokemon FireRed league instead of the current one. Please guide me to change the scripts, graphics, templates and sprites.
are you dumb?, all the pokemon sprites are from gold and silver and the gen 3 pokemon sprites are made to look that way as well. all the npc sprites are directly from gold and silver and some even red/blue. yes, they added some stuff to make it look unique and nicer but it's pretty clear it draws from gold and silver predominantly. I feel like you never played these games if that's your opinion
To be honest, this rom hack isn't really all that special. Like yeah, a couple of minigames, Alolan forms, a few new gen mons, but for the most part it's the exact same Emerald experience with a new coat of paint. It feels fresh for a week and then loses its novelty. Idk I just generally dislike enhancement hacks that do nothing but enhance one major part of the game. Like come on, you have decompiled versions of Hoenn and Kanto, you can do SO much more
It reworks a lot of pokemon though. A lot of type changes and it keeps the vibe of Hoenn alive. I think it’s fantastic, not every hack has to a a billion features
@@megaspacewaffles I never said it needs a billion features, I said enhancement hacks are boring and tired. That's not the same thing. Clover is an example where it gave us new graphics, new Pokemon, a new region. Same with Pokemon Gaia and Unbound. These don't just feel like Kanto/Hoenn with a new coat of paint and some difficulty enhancements. They are actual proper new games with their own story and unique areas to explore. I don't think it's too much for me to want more hacks like that
@@megaspacewaffles It's not that anything is wrong, it's that it feels bland. There is a difference between bland and bad imo. I just want to see something that isn't the same game. Hell, even an alternate universe Kanto and Hoenn with a new story and slightly changed region would be enough for me to think "this is interesting" Like we have to tools for people to be able to make this easily, but it's still just enhancement hacks
@@dorkenspache8353 A rom hack isn't just EASY. I think Seaglass refreshes Hoenn by having enhanced pokemon. Allmost every pokemon feels strong. Plus the sprites help a lot.
Its such a bad looking romhack that cant decide on the visual style it wants to go with along with having changes to the balance/mons that make no sense.
I think a lot of the assets like dex nav and pinball and even the sprites are also just publicly available things other people made not associated with the Emerald Seaglass project
lemme guess, you love how the 3 pokemon games look. its clearly just a natural progression of what a sequel to gold/silver could have looked like if they didn't strip all the soul away from it with ruby/sapphire.
@@chrispember172 Gen 3 is alright. But it has nothing to do with the enjoyment of a specific gen. It can't decide between high detailed pixel art with an 8 bit palette and basic 8 bit sprites, and it makes both stick out like sore thumbs. Commit to one.
@@Dragonmist19X the aim of the art style was quite clear, to look like a 1990s snes style rpg with gameboy color elements for nostalgia, which is does well. youre just a hater, for no reason. just dont play it lol
I can tell that Heracross has Guts, even with Burn, Guts boosts Attack when burned
Ah you let the Heracross activate Guts
This romhack has cross-gen evolutions & pre-evolutions
congrats, you watched the first minute of the video
@@angelosantos666 I didn't expect, but thank you
Awesome video, can't wait to play this 1‼️🕹🎮🔥

love this hack! ended up beating the e4 with a shiny wurmple, loved every second of it
This looks so homely, I like it
this is one of the best rom hacks that i ever played
Brawly almost killed all my team with the bulk up ability lol, its literally 1 shot
You need to try another Run! Great Video!
That's cool you played this & it was hardcore :)
i use water monotype team and that heracross really give me hard time
Great video. I’m on my first playthrough and also got my ass handed to me by Brawly’s Heracross 😭
I have downloaded the game but My Protagonist dont had the Silver/Gold Protagonist Sprite.
god i wish theyd replace the sprites with brenden and may though.
Can you do link battles in it?
cool vid! i wish you hadnt lost so early..

this is not chatGPT bro
what about the craditopia one??
Would this work on an actual gba?
The game glitches every battleround and that cant be fixed. I dont see the point playing a game in fastforward.
Well that was fun to watch. Like man, did I not expect so much freaking cussing. But hey this game is pretty fun, no?
