How did I miss this little nugget last summer!?!? Absolutely love this entire album, great job again! Here's a request out of left field for ya...Neil Young Dreamin Man (I cant find any good tutorials/tabs anywhere). I always thought Pearl Jam had a different sound when Jack Irons was playing in the band. There is something really special about No Code and Yield. Ok, they're all amazing, but still. You've gotta admit, those two albums can really punch you in the face with awesomeness.
Don't tell anyone I said this but given Yield is my favorite album, I think Jack is my favorite PJ drummer :)

I agree. I absolutely love the first 3 albums and return to them on a regular basis. The energy, songwriting and musicianship is incredible. But there’s something really special about No Code and Yield. Jack Irons arrived at a time when the band was at it’s peak of fame and close to imploding, I think his chilled nature and spacious percussive qualities as a drummer helped the band find a space and maturity in their music just when they needed it. Upon reflection I think there’s a sense of joy that those albums have (though there’s still a lot of dark themes) that make them so special to me, and makes Jack one of my favourite drummers. Those two albums are a unique period of Pearl Jam, you could almost remove them from their catalogue and place them aside under a different band name… maybe Mookie Blaylock lol
