@@braydencordrey8544 Great collection of machines, thanks for demo too! Crazy that it still picked up some dirt pretty easily even after you just vacuumed! Checking the water is always the fun part and your always in for a surprise!
Like the cuncurrent Electroluxes of the time the crevice tool appears to be made of high presure pressed paper. They were very lightweight. That's an absolutely beautiful machine.
@@braydencordrey8544 Thanks, yours is amazing. Mine needed restoration, but it was a wonderful display for the vac shop. We had a shelf around the room filled with antiques. Sure wish I had got it back before he lost the shop.
I bought a D3C in 1986 or 1987. It only needed one service to fix the beater bar. They checked the motor brushes to make sure they weren’t worn out and they were fine. I take such good care of the unit because $1200 was a lot for a vacuum cleaner in the 1980s. A friend had a model C until her son backed over it when he was cleaning his car. One of my grandmothers had what must have been a model B. They didn’t take care of it and it was trashed some time in the 1950s or 1960s. In 2018, I bought the current version. I got tired of carrying the vacuum up and down stairs so now I have one for each floor. You say they don’t have powerful suction but they do the job and the water filters the air so much better than the paper bags. This more than makes up for it. Just make sure you dump the water and dry it out before storage to prevent the rust.
Wow! That's an amazing find! It must be worth some money for sure! Hope you treasure it! It's Rainbows great great gran daddy! 😄✨🌈✨
Axl XA haha yes it is the gran daddy for sure, I will hang onto it for sure

Wow amazing shape for the age .
Wow! I am jealous as all hell. I love those machines. I used to have one, I loaned to a vacuum store for decoration, lost to foreclosure. DAMN
That’s a shame, this one is in great condition
