If you've got a full bodied electro acoustic like my Ej200, this song is a joy to play, and If you can sing it as well, fair play. They only did two full albums, and I've got both. And ironically, the worst song amongst them is "She Said" which I think was their biggest hit. Lovely to see the video for the first time.🎸
They just fell through the cracks in the 90s Britpop scene, I agree they should have been so much bigger than they were, their debut album (which this song is off) is one of the best albums of the 90s, shame all the attention was given to Oasis and Blur when bands just as good as those were under appreciated
There were lots of great bands who fell by the wayside thanks to the rise of Oasis and Blur, Longpigs were excellent as were Ride, the Bluetones etc. Had both Longpigs cds and still play them and I'm 73 this year. Richard Hawley seems to be the only one of that genre that's gone on to great things, Coles Corner is an absolute masterpiece.
I don’t know how this song is not huge.
We'll keep it our little secret. 😉
Was #18 in the US so somebody liked it
One Day keeping it alive
One Day
90s music videos were the best.
Fantastic song and video.
I seen em support Shed 7 at Leeds Irish Centre. Before thier album came out so they were unknown...every song was blinding. Pissed on Shed 7.
Shed 7 are a cracking band, though.
1997, the final song on Face, underrated movie and underrated band.
Love this song
LOVE THIS

I've only ever sang it well once, in 1998 in a bar in Wakefield. And even I was surprised I hit that high note.
@@nickphillips7319 And you, man. Like I say, it was a real one-off. Can't even do it in practice now. Where's you voice naturally at?
