The only battery that I trust that does not worry me that I will not get there is a 54.6v 8p 13s 104 cell 18650 3 amp hour per cell battery that I built. It is about 24 amp hour or 1,200 watt hour battery. I use average of about 500 watt for a trip and average speed of 20mph. Now you have all the numbers to do the math to figure range and my bike is 60 pounds and I am 280 pounds. Also, I found the best way to get range and good speed is when you need to speed up use the whole 1,000 watts until you reach 28 mph then coast under no power until you reach 20 mph then go full power again back to 28 mph. This allows the battery to rest and for whatever reason, the batter performs with more power and last a whole lot longer, 2 times longer when you use that method. I can ride for 3 hours doing that and still keep average speed of 15 mph.

I got 40-45km with Max G30. So I expect getting same range with this one. Loved my old Max. Sold it away because it didn't have suspension. You really need suspension here where I am driving. Good review! Can't wait to get my G2!
You might have the same range indeed, maybe few km more from what I have noticed.

@@MartinPech-ro5be I received my G2 yesterday. Drove 11km and it used 20% battery. I weigh 86kg so I think I can get 45-50km out of it. I will do a better test at some point. But so far, really satisfied with G2.

Hello. I tried two new units of this scooter and in both of them I felt that the back wheel made a knock at times when riding. I understand that the "problem" may come from the cushioning or the fender. What do you think about it?
just check the screw size and rescrew it. its dumb thing they havent fixed for some reason.

Why does the Segway App show 50.0 kilometers under remaining kilometers when charging 100% instead of the range of 70 kilometers?
70km might be achieved in some specific conditions: 60kg load, flat surfaces, ECO mode, no wind, 25C temperature... if these conditions are gathered, then you might be able to reach 65km of range. In other hands, the range you'll get in "real life conditions" is between 30 and 45km.

@@weltvonoben Depends on the driving mode you are in. Different modes will give you different mileage. 70 km is only in ECO mode, whereas in the more powerful S mode it will be quite less.
Are they legal to ride on the highway? l have one similar 3000w x two its crazy, worried about riding it on the road

What we want to know is - what's the real EVERDAY USE range of this scooter? Does it get anywhere near stated range?
30-40km average in real conditions
I got 50 km range with 90 kg weight and sport mode on
I get plenty of range. 28 miles in sport mode before needing a charge.
I'm real easy on acceleration if that matters

I got my G2 two days ago, but now I hear like wobble sound from the rear tire (or the motor) when accelerating. Is this normal?
Your fender must be a bit lose. We have seen lose built in charger too.

You are at the limit imo.. Im 192, you need to bent a bit forward while driving, not an issue just an habit

You say fender gets less vibrations while it's flailing around over bumps
There are vibrations, but not as bad as the G30 wihtout suspension. They absorb much more vibrations avoiding the fender to crack.
@@MyMobelity they should have attached it to the frame, opposite of what you are saying, the way the mounted it to the suspension I see way more vibrations than before. It never cracked from vibration before, it cracked under pressure because people rest their foot on it while they are riding
@@jasonnelson1585 On the frame would have been better for sure. Not always because of people feet: 30% people feet, 30% touching the fender while stepping down a step or a sidewalk, 30% vibrations while riding. Note also that since the MAX G30EII with the new folding system and new wider fender was released, it almost never crack anymore. We can clearly see that the shape of the G2 fender is similar as the G30EII, thicker at the base.
Dude it was because of vibration and lack of support. This one is supported so it won't break. No fender is perfect and besides is like a 10 buck part
@@christopherclemson1278 if you're going to mount the fender to the suspension it's much more effective to mount it to the axel. Why not design it better and make it a 12 dollar part?

Hi! Great video! I have a couple of questions, as this is probably going to be my first e-scooter: can it handle a 14% slope during 600m at least at 6km/h? Can you charge it while folded? If so, I'd use it daily to go to work instead of driving. Thanks in advance!

no cruise control is a dealbreaker. that thumb is really gonna cramp. and u mentioned the fast charger is included?
It does have cruise control just not in EU. And yes the it comes with a cord, the brick is built into the scooter like the g30
CC is illegal in EU. There's a lot of weird laws surrounding scooters in some EU countries .

Ground clearance is 12.5cm
@@MyMobelity I just measured my g30 max and I have 7.5cm a big difference with the g2 so I think you can skip the steps of the sidewalks without touching under the platform?

Difficult to say, but you'll feel the big difference of acceleration, for sure!

Is there an option whee i can turn off the bluetooh in it? I just before to buy one from you its alredy in the basket, i just want to be sure if its woking on android segway app, because none of me or my wife have ios. And i don't want to buy an iphone too. And i dont want to be tracked. Thanks for answer
The reality is that it is not going to work well with a 265 pound person.
I suppose you are under 200 pounds. I think the only one that would work for 280 pound person is the GT1

Rear suspentions is actually the worst thing about this scooter its shit. Its ok as long as you dont hit bigger potholes or jump of a curb, but if you do the rebound is so instant and violent that you might think your scooter broke or you hit the ground with your bottom part... it rattles a lot. I hope in the future there will be either nee shocks from ninebot or some better alternative shocks from another company as the current stock ones are no good, but the front shock is perfect, you will definetly notice a big differance between your front and rear :)

@@Martin-1911 similar comfort than a 9, it just "feel" a way more robust IMO. Tubeless tyres on the MAX have made they proof... not the case with the Vsett 9 though.

Why it shows 100% and range 50km?
When I am now looking at the app it shows 70km for 100%. The battery wasn't loaded at 100% during the video, weird.

Only worth upgrading if you can unlock the top speed.
Then get a $2000+ one. This is just for people wanting to commute with scooters for longer range, not really for thrills like the faster expensive ones

@@MyMobelity I was thinking this because there is a GDPR law in the EU, and segway and apple is an American company. I thought no personal data can go out the Eu. So if i have to give premissions from my location i think they not allowed to see it. I heard that somewhere, when you pairing it with your phone, the apple app ask for location. Is it possible to pair it, save the settings, than delete the app? Thanks for the answer, i just before to buy one.

Yes,0 quite comfortable even on cobblestones, you can't compare with the previous model. For only 799€, nothing else can compete it terms of quality of suspensions, IMO.
@My Mobelity i have the dualtron mini, which has front and rear suspension, but im not comfortable when riding over small bumps. Have you tried the dualtron mini ?
@@ArgentinaPrimermundo DUaltron mini suspension are just installed to say that "there is suspension"... their effectiveness is horrific... if I try compare, you'll have 3x times more comfort on a G2 than on your Mini
Just got one today. Not super easy to set both rear shocks equally, and my first ride there was a noise coming out of the back when riding on cobblestones and feels like the shocks are skipping a bump in between. One rear shock has also a long scratch. So i will have to look what is wrong now :(

Check under the fender there are 2 screws to fix well and put some thread brake on them and so you solved it
